I love the design and color palette. The bowl and the whisk holder have an eastern blue color complemented by a grainy design. I consider this a traditional set because the kit comes with everything I need to make matcha, including extras such as a scoop stand and the tea cloth.My general preparation method for matcha involves rinsing the whisk under warm water first. Dampening the whisk allows better flexibility when whisking.For the matcha, I use the scoop to get the matcha and pour it into a sifter, which then falls into the matcha bowl. Once that process is done, I add in the hot water and whisk away. As soon as I’m done using the whisk, I rinse it off and immediately put it to dry on the whisk holder.The pour flows nicely. Usually, a beginner-friendly matcha bowl comes with a spout, which this one does not. However, I prefer it this way because it offers an aesthetic and symmetric look to the bowl.Overall, I love the design of the bowl and all the parts that come with it. This set is also perfect as a gift.
