Jetzt schon die dritte Variante von Deckeln fÃ¼r die WeithalsglÃ¤ser. Hier perfekt fÃ¼r Kombucha. Habe auch schon die Fermentierungsdeckel und SprossenaufsÃ¤tze. Alles passt perfekt und ist super praktisch.

Easy and Effective
I just started making kombucha. These lids are easy to use and clean, and are effective in keeping fruit flies out of the mason jars. My only ding would be that itâs hard to find gallon jars that have the standard wide-mouth top, so I split my batches into half-gallon jars in order to use the lids.

Water Kefir Lids Too!
I donât make kombucha but I make water kefir and liked the idea of a breathable membrane that was washable and endlessly reusable. So I bought a pack. Works like a charm. When my kefir grains have multiplied, I give some to a friend with one of these lids.

Work perfect for my kefir and water kefir
I love these things!! They have been a game changer for making my kefir and water kefir. I used to use cloth and rubber bands but the bands would break every once in a while and then bugs would get in, and just… ew. Needless to say, I was so excited to find these, and they work amazing. I haven’t made kombucha in a while but I imagine they work just as well for that.They are very well made and they fit snuggly on my wide-mouth mason jars. The screen top things work with normal mason rings as well, but I prefer the plastic ones that come with these for when making fermented foods, as opposed to the metal rings. Considering buying another pack so I can have more jars going at once!

Perfect for raising fruit flies
An unconventional use, but I have used these for raising fruit flies for my frogs for over a year now. I hate the plastic waste of the typical fruit flies plastic deli cups, and this allows me to use a wide mouth mason jar instead. They have held up to numerous washings and no flies have ever escaped. However, mites will make their way in(as is the case usually anyway) so make sure you use diatomaceous earth or some other anti-mite method. I’m planning to use them now for raising small live foods for my fish.
