Upon arrival the box was damaged on two corners. That being said it’s a beast. Once it off the box the bottom wood had two missing chunks on the corners where dropped. Assembly was easy. This is not for the faint of heart or limbs. Even if you are challenged by grinding. If you keep at it you won’t be for long!The front silver knob/disk turns clockwise for finer grind , counter for courser grains. We started just cracking the wheat berries. Then cranked it down to almost the tightest setting. It was more work. Think of what sculpted arms you or your whole family will have! The flour was just as fine as when I used the wondermill. I also have the flour attachment for my Vitamix and it was about the same for all of them.Having a lower surface helped alot. Something as easy as countertop vs lower table helped a lot.
