    Junk
Does not grind at all. No instructions on how to use the product, and nothing I did would result in a grind usable to make bread. Very disappointed and am returning asap. Would not recommend buying new or used. Pure junk!

    Built to Last
The manual grain grinder I had the pleasure of testing is constructed from stainless steel, giving it a substantial feel in the hands. Its operation involves spinning the crank round and round to grind nuts and grains, such as corn into masa flour. My experience with it was highly positive, echoing the functionality of a similar grinder I inherited from my grandmother used forty years ago, which served as my comparison point. This grinder’s versatility extends beyond just corn, as it is designed to handle a variety of substances, reflecting its heavy-duty nature. The build quality is robust, and it comes at a price point that I find to be very reasonable for the durability and efficiency it offers.Based on its performance, build, and versatility, I wholeheartedly recommend this manual grain grinder. It’s a reliable tool for anyone looking to process grains at home, reminiscent of traditional grinding methods with the convenience and quality of modern craftsmanship.

Not able to put it together
The metal top piece appears to not fit. Very limited directions on this product. I’m hoping to be contacted by the company, no way for me to contact them. Update: the company never responded, will be returning!

    Metal Shavings
First use and it was grinding metal shavings into the flour and it was on a very coarse setting, not finely ground

    Homesteader new gadget.
As a future homesteader, I’ve been purchasing random items here and there, along with some heirloom wheat seeds. Looking forward to actually trying this out in the future, will have to follow up once that happens. The grinder itself is a nice solid weighted kitchen gadget. Handle is smooth and easy to operate. Attaches very easily. Very affordably priced and would make a great addition to any homesteaders kitchen out there.

I’ve now bought three manual grain grinders and this the fourth. The first two were made of stainless steel znd while sturdy the first one mal functioned as the design was off. Causing to come loose not allowing it to grind. The second one had three rollers but chick pea or coffee were to large and would not feed through. These two first grinders could not with stand the pressure caused by the grain as it ground. This immense strain made the grinders miss align. Both were made by vivo. The third one was made of cast iron. It ground everything. The design was good.The. Problem was the cast iron, it is soft and blunted also the coating came off and contaminated the grind. All three were throw aways. This was my last hope. The entire thing is stainless steel so it won’t grind off and wreck the grain. The compression spring at the front is industrial standard and would be worth at least $20 or more. The cork screw is going to feed through chick pea and the grinder I can tell will with stand the pressure. Caused by the grain. The cork screw grind is at the front and back with wing nuts. There is also four washers at the back and one has inbuilt ball bearings for smooth operation, it also stops the first washer from causing friction on the main body. The hopper is large enough. The grind can be changed from course to find by adjusting the front and back wing nuts.I am confident this will operate long term. The first grinde demonlishes chick and borlotti beans. The second grind is easier and smoother.Very nice operation.Thank you.
