    Great Coffee Grinder
I originally ordered this manual coffee grinder to carry with me when I go camping. I much prefer fresh ground coffee even when I’m out in the woods. I began grinding my coffee at home using an electric grinder and was more-or-less pleased with the results. After making a lot of adjustments over time, the electric grinder met my needs. However, that was before I ordered this manual grinder! Right out of the box without any adjustments at all, it made better coffee. This coffee grinder is simple in design and is somewhat similar to a salt or pepper grinder. You pour the beans in the top, attach the handle, and start to turn. The handle is long enough to give you excellent grinding with minimal effort, and quite frankly, is easier to operate than a pepper grinder of similar design. The ground coffee collects in the attached cylinder below. Depending on how strong you like your coffee, it produces enough coffee for one or two cups—2 heaping standard coffee scoops. In addition, this grinder has a removable stainless steel blade, and comes with a cleaning brush. As you can see from my photo, making adjustments to the grind is easy and the gauge is readily assessable. Its sleek lines and beech wood knob make it very attractive in appearance. This grinder is rapidly becoming a kitchen staple rather than being relegated to my camping gear. I recommend this grinder to other coffee lovers.

    A decent grinder
This grinder looks and feels solid. It doesn’t hold as many beans as some others but the various grind settings work as expected. About average strength is needed to crank handle and feels comfortable to grip. It gets the job done.

    Didn’t work, then jammed
The dial to adjust the fineness of the grounds would spin endlessly and thus wouldn’t work. Product is poorly designed or at least poorly assembled. Super frustrating to deal with a coffee malfunciton before you can have your coffee.

Great grind right out of the box
My partner drinks coffee, I don’t. My partner currently drinks pre-ground coffee, but I hear there are so many more quality options when you grind beans yourself. I dislike electric coffee bean grinders because they are loud and I didn’t want to get woken up in the morning. Not only that, they require power and are usually more expensive than manual grinders. The problem with a lot of manual grinders is that they have plastic components on the inside which can wear down over time and result in a poor grind (not to mention plastic in your beans!).We wanted to try this out out because it claims a full metal construction, and right out of the box, it lives up to it’s claim. It feels durable in the hand, and the handle snaps on perfectly. It only takes a little force to grind due to the oversized handle; it feels easier than grinding pepper! The size of the grind is adjustable with the dial at the bottom. You have to have the handle installed to turn the dial – if you don’t the dial will turn freely. When this came in, we immediately tried it out and it worked as expected. Looking forward to quiet mornings, and my partner appreciates the additional “ritual” that can go into a quality cup of coffee.

Very Convenient For Travel or Home Use
I just took this coffee grinder kit on an extended trip to the Disney Resorts. The grinder is well built generally and I was especially impressed with the torque in the grinder mechanism itself. I ground four seperate and very different bean types while traveling and in various grind settings from fine as powder to coarse and the machine functioned fast and flawlessly with very little effort.

    Great for power outages
I’m a big coffee snob and like to grind my own coffee. The problem is I live on an island and we’ve been having some power issues. We’ve been having a lot of downtime and I can’t ruin my coffee grinder. But now I no longer have that issue I just grind the beans throw it in my portable battery-powered water kettle and press their change oh throw it in my Areopress and I have hot coffee. The conical shape allows me to adjust the grind profile allowing me to get the fine grind that I like. I can grind a cup of coffee in less than 30 seconds and the small footprint break down of the coffee grinder makes it ideal for camping or beach trips. Now I’m never without my coffee.

Nice stainless steel burr manual grinder with aluminum housing
I liked this manual grinder from opening the box. It looks really nice. It is not heavy and the knurled body helps to grip it but gives a nice look. The handle is well crafted with wood knob.As typical with these type grinders the main feed tube can only be partially cleaned. The bottom can be removed by continuously rotating the grind adjust until the nut can be removed. I initially did limited wiping of the feed chamber then ground some coffee beans to clean the burrs. The bottom cup is easy to wash and dry.The description says this grinder has a capacity of 30 grams of coffee. The feeder can maybe fit 20 grams of beans. The bottom cup was extremely full with 28 grams of ground coffee where grounds were in the grinder mechanism. Therefore I would grind only in 20 gram batches if more is needed. The cup seems to release the grounds very well (no stic sticking). The grind settings I followed were per their table and ground size was about right by comparison to my electric grinder for my moka pot. I found turning the handle to grind was a little hard than my other manual grinder but ok, just takes a little muscle to get it started. This grinder comes with a little brush which can reach narrow areas to clean the burrs. It would be nicer with a little longer handle.Overall a solid compact grinder for those needing one and do not have space or money for expensive electric burr grinder.
