setting the grind
With the crank handle held in place I turned the grind all the way to fine and back 14 clicks for expresso and I filled the chamber with beans. Takes quite a bit of cranking, but worked well and produced more coffee than I needed for 1 cup. The inexpensive expresso machine I bought wouldn’t work with store bought grind expresso being too fine.

Fantastic deal on a great little grinder
They had me at steel bur…and it’s really nice. Cranks easy, very simple operation, nicely even finished grounds. Got me back to daily fresh grinding and added a fun physical part to the morning ritual.

Nice manual grinder
This little grinder works great! Super easy to use. I love that you can see how much you have ground up. Sturdy grinder that is easy to use in your hands and not bulky or hard to hold. I highly recommend

Donât ever buy !
Just believe me when I say that this coffee grinder is a joke !! I constantly order so many things on Amazon but this has got to be the worst ! I give most things a 5 star but this coffee grinder takes all day to grind coffee in it and itâs so small that you canât make a big pot of coffee ! For 39.00 ! What a joke

Well built and produces consistent, no mess grind. Excellent fine grind setting for espresso.
I have been using a $160 hand grinder for preparing espresso for a few years now. I recently broke the handle off of it and was not up to spending that much money. I researched a number of budget models available on Amazon and decided on this one. I have been nicely surprised with it. The build and materials are solid. The glass receptacle screws on tightly with no mess or loss of grounds. Unlike many other models that have 6 or 8 grind settings, this one has around 30. Using the recommended setting of 10 to14 for espresso has given excellent results from the start. After using it for a while I have settled on 9 to11 depending on how moist the beans are. It holds 16g of beans which is perfect for producing a double shot in my 51mm basket. The grind is very consistent. Even when using the grind in a modestly priced machine it produces excellent results when prepared correctly and tamped firmly. Highly recommend this one.
