I love this thing. It does exactly what it’s supposed to and it does it really well. Just be prepared for an arm workout with the whole bean stuff. Mine wiggles just the slightest little bit right below the settings knob, (and if anyone knows of a safe way to tighten it, I’d love to fix that) but not an issue at all so far.Seriously consider buying this one, I like the bag and extra accessories as well, really nice bonus.

Disappointed
Where to begin. Iâm comparing this $35 product to a $10 all stainless steel outside model but with a plastic assembly holding the ceramic burr. The handle of this grinder is shorter than the cheaper product. Therefore Itâs harder to grind. The hopper is smaller than the cheaper product. The grind number is nearly useless since 1 to 6 is barely noticeable grinding size differenceâit doesnât do large cracked pieces but more finer grinding. The internal assembly from top shaft to the holding nut is metal except for the ceramic burr for this productâthatâs a plus. Overall, it is harder to hold and grind than the cheaper product AND I get less coffee requiring another round of grinding. The cheaper product produced exactly 1/4 cup of coffee for a 1 liter French Pressâone grind session, pour hot water and 4 minutes later drinking coffee. This product did not meet my expectations at all.

Good Grinding
After a few weeks of use, testing the grinding consistency on a daily basis, I can say that I am satisfied with the quality and price of this device. It has a solid construction and looks durable, SS case. I’ve tried it with greca coffee with which I get a very good and tasty espresso at home.

NOT for daily use
Too small for a full pot of coffee.Too difficult to grind due to poor hopper design (and I suspect this is the same of similar design/mfgs). Takes forever to grind, even on coarse, needing several ‘taps’ against counter top to settle the beans down to the bottom to continue grinding. Seems ‘wobbly” between the unit sections even though they are tight. I’ll continue to look through antique stores for a real coffee grinder.
