Yes, you heard right. This grinds the beans every bit as well as my fancy grinder that’s I’ve been using exclusively for over 1 year. While this Newluk Pro doesn’t have the fine refinement touches the 1Zpresso has, it does amazingly well and holds 34 grams of whole beans in my measuremt, while the grind receptacle can hold more if you need to add more beans.I did have to tune and adjust the top collar retaining nut to get the grounds coarse enough fory daily pour-over brew. I backed off about 1.5mm or so to get the right settings, and the round nut is on there fairly tight from the factory (it’s clockwise to loosen threading, meaning right loosely thread). While loosening the retention but collar, I ended up slicing my finger a bit because of the rough machining edges that left nearly razor sharp burrs, so be careful with this. This was just ony sample, your experienceay be different, but I took the burrs off with a knife and it’s been in use ever since without issues. This is the reason for the 4 star rating… The lack of refinement and attention to details before leaving the factory.I love the wide base and keeps the grinder super stable when setting down, unlikey 1Zpresso, which is very tippy if not very careful. I’ll be using this one for a bit and may even retire or gift the fancy other brand to a new whole beans coffee drinker that wants a manual grinder experience. Definitely recommend this as it does it’s job well and for under $50 USD

The Rolls Royce of hand grinders! This is one very well crafted, solid small grinder! If you are a person who enjoys freshly ground coffee, want it ground quickly, do not want a lot of hassle or ungodly noise that you get with electric grinders, this is the tool for you. You can get just the grind you like from super fine to a more course grind. Its very easy to use, it may take a few test runs to get the coffee beans ground to just the way you like, but worth the effort and once set? You just keep it on that setting. A lovely, solid and well made grinder!
