Coffee with a hint of vanilla macadamia nut that is liked by those who view flavored coffee with disdain
Yum, Yum, delicious, the BEST! This is a medium roast ever so slightly hinted with vanilla macadamia nut that even picky coffee drinkers who do not like “flavored” coffee will find yummy in their tummy! The delicate flavor is just enough that tells you “hum, something is here”, but is not overwhelming; For the record, I tried another brand of “Hawaiian Kona vanilla macadamia nut” coffee and this was by far the better of the two (although both were pretty darn good!). I like a strong, dark , deep roast and this is not, but it somehow satisfies me at times when I need to take a break. It is mild. calm, and refreshing for a change. You see, in the South, we are weaned on coffee! I’ve been a coffee drinker for well over 60 years and this is among the best; I wouldn’t say it is THE best, but it is a decent drink. I recommend it without hesitation or reservation.

Thereâs a Danger in using this product.
Do not buy any âlionâ labeled K cups. The first container out of the box exploded and sent hot coffee everywhere. Just lucky my wife wasnât close when it happened. See picture below. So, I go the order to return it and the return date said it was nonreturnableUsed k-Cup products and never had this happen. Donât buy it. Forced to give it one star. Also we purchased a vanilla version and canât get a refund.

The Chocolate Macadamia got substituted for our regular macadamia and it is terrible. It tastes like a floral arrangement. I gave it an star because the silver lining is that is also smells like a floral arrangement.

delicious coffee, structurally unsound pod
I love the coffee. The vanilla macadamia flavor is subtle enough to not taste artificial but robust enough to make up for the meh-ness of Keurig brewing and to add some complexity to the coffee’s already rich flavor. The problem is that more often than not, the foil on top of the pod separates off during brewing, which results in some grinds getting into the mug. It can also be a bit messy, because some water seems to overflow out of the pod and creates another stream of coffee coming out the Keurig spout just outside the rim of a normal 10-oz coffee mug. I suspect that despite really enjoying the flavor I won’t be buying these again.
