They are a bit on the heavier side which is what I wanted. I like the shape, the different colours on the inside and the rounded top of the handles which, for some reason, makes it easier to hold the mug . It is bigger than it looks and actually holds 20 ounces as advertised . I am really pleased with this mug .

One of the best pleasures in life is to curl up with a hot cup of cocoa and a good book! A beautiful, big mug just makes that experience even better. The handle is big ,so I cam get four fingers in there to hold this big mug securely and the handle doesn’t get hot in the microwave. It has a nice weight to it and I love the shape to curl my hand around. I do believe that this is my favorite mug of all time ! It washes up beautifully and does not leave coffee stains . What’s not to love !

I bought some ceramic mugs from a different vendor, and they were no match for these. These are solid! They do not tip easily or even half way hard as they have a pretty wide base. They are thick, which means that the hot liquids in them stay a bit hotter longer than mugs with thinner walls. And thicker walls may also prevent damage from cleaning if left in the sink for long enough to allow other dishes, etc. to pile over them.>.. Even when full, they are easy to pick up (three of my fat fingers fit in the handle) and there are no sharp edges to the handle (top, side or bottom) which could make the holding of them uncomfortable. You might think that was normal, but I have been given and have also bought some ‘artisan’ mugs where the comfort of the handle was ignored. (Emory boards do file off the roughness on those other mugs.)>.. I’m the kind of guy that appreciates (needs) a big dose of heavy duty coffee in the morning. My Sister in Law was visiting and the first morning i handed her a mug of coffee, her first response: “It’l take me all day to drink this much coffee.” Then she took cream and sugar and mixed it in to her coffee, and then complained that it was “too strong!” I brew it to Seattle Strength. When we returned the visit, I found I could read the newspaper through a full pot of her coffee. [mostly true]>.. Away from the coffee and back to the mugs. These hold a generous 20oz which is almost enough for me, but may be more than some people enjoy at one sitting. (I can always get refills as I brew it.} If you like less coffee than I do, pour less in to your cup.>.. ONE NOTE: The blue lining of one of the mugs looked black to me until I shot a high intensity LED light into it, then it showed up as a dark NAVY blue (Well alright!). I was pleased to get all four colors, because at first it looked like two black ones. But it worked out, just fine.

These mugs are pretty substantial, so when they’re full of coffee, it’s almost a two handed lift for me. I ordered them because they looked multipurpose (hot beverages and soup) and they are perfect for soup, chili, and stews.

Excellent, easy to clean interior doesn’t build up coffee/tea stains like others.
