What a clean cup of coffee – the best option for reflux problems
I was an avid coffee drinker. Until I was diagnosed with silent reflux. I was devastated. My ENT told me to stop drinking coffee. What!?! I almost lost it. Later, I started buying EVERY low-acid coffee out there. I tried them all. When I tried Lifeboost dark roast I was pleasantly surprised. The other brands tasted, well… just “off”. I used to drink Starbcks Pike Place every morning. Okay, this coffee is not Pike Place. But… it is refreshingly clean tasting. It’s sort of like Pike Lite… a smooth, lovely, cup of coffee. I am currently using the pods. Eventually I’ll get a bag and see what it’s like when I brew it myself, but you can really taste the cleanliness of this coffee. It has a nice bold finish (sort of like Pike) but much much smoother. It’s definitely got a nice caffeine kick to it, but without any reflux. IMO it’s really the best option for ppl who suffer with reflux and want a good cup of coffee. I just ordered the medium roast pods to see what that’s about. But given the quality of the ingredients, I expect it will be great.

Great taste
This coffee has a great taste and easy on the stomach. Being half decaf makes it a great coffee anytime of day for those who watch caffeine intake.

Working so far and the taste is good.
So far, this brand is working well for me. Diagnosed with a problem that takes my regular coffee from my diet. How can I wake up in the morning without my cup of coffee? Decaf has never been a draw for me, but now it’s either decaf or no coffee. Acid is also an issue. IF the coffee tastes bitter, I had just as soon learn to live without it. This coffee tastes good, and so far, after 5 days, it seems to be passing the test. My only complaint, as with all Keurig cups, is that the first cup is too strong (oh, did I mention I must dilute everything? Yes everything). So I prepare the first cup, set it aside, prepare hot water, mix it together, and I have my first and second cups. Using the cup for another round makes the perfect cup for me. When I put it all together, I get 3 cups of coffee from one pod. Now that makes the price more affordable. I will continue to buy this brand and recommend it. If you are having tummy or acid reflux issues, I would suggest trying it. Diluted it still tastes very good and works for my system.

Great flavor and low acidity!
This coffee had a nice mellow taste and also was low acidity so was a win win!!

Smooth but less flavorful
I agree that it is a smooth taste but some of the flavor is lost with the acid removal.

I LIKE IT!
Although the package arrived damaged, (the company took care of it), I did try it., and the coffee has great flavor, I love that it’s cleaner than most other coffee and the low acid did not bother my stomach.

Best Coffee Ever!
I love this coffee! Itâs the best Iâve ever had! I buy regular too, not just decaf and my tummy doesnât get upset anymore! I stopped drinking coffee because of my IBS-D, until this product was recommended by a relative that got the same results! Itâs very low in acid, smells great, and organic! I highly recommend, especially if you have stomach issues, to give this a try! Itâs a bit pricey but youâll see, itâs well worth it!

PLEASE SEE FURTHER UPDATE BELOW: Ripped off and no help from Amazon or Lifeboost
FURTHER UPDATE:Well, Lifeboost Coffee has definitely regained a customer. They were willing to send us a new package of decaf coffee and it was excellent. I have this week ordered another of their medium roast, low acid coffee and will see how this batch is! If this batch is good then I will be adjusting the stars to five stars. Mel was absolutely wonderful and I feel like my concerns were heard and I can definitely purchase with confidence that they will stand by their products. Please do try their coffees as they traditionally have been very good.UPDATE: After being on the phone for over an hour, I was finally able to get in touch with someone from Amazon. They did finally authorise a refund for one of our orders. However, a few days later we received our decaf order and it was just as bitter as the first. However, I could not spend the time to try to get the refund. Now though, the company has reached out to me and they are trying to sort out a solution to our situation, and for that I have changed the amount of stars selected. I have responded to them via email and will see what happens. HOPEFULLY, there will be a resolution to this issue and we will be able to enjoy their coffee once again! I will keep yous updated. As I said previously, this has been our favourite coffee and we have never had this issue before!I received both boxes of coffee. I have ordered this coffee many times, and have always loved it, so I know what Iâm ordering.When I opened the box and placed them on my coffee stand, I was in my kitchen and suddenly several of the pods started making âpoppingâ sounds. I thought maybe it was cause they were coming out of the cold into the warmth! Then this morning I brewed a cup, and it was nearly undrinkable. I thought maybe my cream was off, so I dumped it out and tried a cup black! It was so bitter I couldnât drink it! Then I tried a pod from the other box, same thing!! Clearly this batch is off!Now I canât get anyone to help me with this!! Amazon says there is nothing they can do, and when I go to the âhelpâ chat, I just keep getting looped into the same questions that have nothing to do with what Iâve typed out is my problem!!Iâm very upset, I thought this was a reputable company!! I wish someone would have helped me as I hate doing negative reviews! Iâm out two boxes of coffee and my entire coffee budget for the year! ð¢ð¡
