Excellent. Easy to use, easy to clean.
Say goodby to mesh-style filters that have lots of little crannies for dirt to hide… the holes on this are very tiny, go straight through, and work as well as paper filters without absorbing any of the coffee extract. This is great for people like me who prefer a strong bitter brew. I sometimes use a paper filter to slow down the drip if the grounds are too coarse.I’ve had this for two years now and I still love it. It is interesting because if you use it by itself the coffee won’t fall straight down – all of it will run down the outside to the center.

I love this thing!
I’m currently living in my camper so space is limited and I didn’t want to take up what little counter space I have with a coffee pot. I have an electric kettle and I had been using a funnel and a coffee filter to make coffee and it was super messy and took a long time for the water to go through the filter. I had no idea something like this even existed so I was pleasantly surprised to find this coffee making contraption. It doesn’t take long for my electric kettle to boil water, so the whole process of making coffee takes me less than 10 minutes. Once the water is boiling it’s literally less than a minute and I have almost a whole pot of coffee. The water runs through this strainer very quickly. I have been sitting it on top of a large insulated water jug. I then put the lid on and it stays hot for hours if you want another cup. It works on cups and mugs of all sizes if you want to make a little or a lot. The mouth on my insulated jug is really big (big enough I can stick my whole hand in it) and this fits on there perfectly. There are no messy drips to clean up, and emptying the grounds out of it is super easy. It’s also very quick and easy to clean. I appreciate that the base is easily removed for thorough cleaning and drying, and easily attaches back with no trouble. It also takes up very little space in my cabinet. As long as you aren’t doing anything crazy with it I feel like it will last a long time. It was worth every penny and I’m so happy with it! I’m so glad I don’t have a whole coffee pot to deal with and I don’t have to worry about buying filters!

Strained out coffee oils & small ground bean pieces and very easy to clean.
Good quality, water flowed freely and strained oil, etc. leaving a clear, better tasting cup of coffee. The stainless steel strainer was also easy to clean.

Perfect
Itâs the perfect size to fit over most standard cups! I use it often and itâs been durable and held upGreat! The design is spot on never leaks or overflows. Itâs works and is a quick option to waiting for a coffee pot so long as you have an electric kettle. The box was nice and it comes with a little cleaning brush as well! Great value!

Very good!
Easy to use and clean. With this you can make stronger coffee than to with k cups. No big grounds in my cup, but a little sedimentation at the bottom which doesn’t bother me at all. Perfect for me.

pretty decent beginner pour over filter for a coffee lover
I’ve used coffee machine and french press for a long time, but thought i’d try out a pour over filter. I purchased a different “hario style” filter in the past, but I thought I’d try a stainless steel one. I’ve had this for about 3 months and I use this at least 1-3 times a week with my gooseneck kettle. Here are my two cents on the item:1. stainless steel – best part of it. sturdy construction that produces consistent results. you can use it without a paper filter and it’ll work great.2. construction – a two-piece filter & stand. easy to handle and use, i wish the stand is more stable and heavier, but it does not affect usage. one should be careful that the joint connectors are not bent during use.3. filter – there are two observations about the filter itself.a. it is good at catching the fine grinds, but does not catch them all – some residue do sip through but not enough to ruin the coffee taste. this may not be an issue with the filter, but more related to how fine the grounds; finer will sip through a bit but coarser grounds will be fine. When I use a prepackaged grounds purchased from a store, it will often result in some residue.b. this filter catches the water very well. the water does not sip through the side of the filter, results in diluting the coffee flavor. all of the water poured into the filter will flow down the tip and contribute to the brewing.one more note about the filter itself – if you use without the paper filter, the end result coffee will look “oily”, this is a natural process, not a problem of the design. The oiliness is due to the oil in the coffee bean being extracted by the hot water during roasting process. If you use a paper filter, the paper will filter usually absorbs all the oil.4. easy to clean – a couple of dumps will get rid almost all of the grounds. The included brush works amazingly well when you use warm water with a bit of dish soap.overall I do like and enjoy this filter, and it produces good (but not great) tastes of coffee. Some may have complained that the draining took too long – i disagree respectfully. A pour over is meant to slow drain so it has time to brew the coffee grounds. I have another ceramic filter (hario style) that took even longer to drain. using a pour over is almost like a fine art, where a combination of your filter, hot water, coffee grounds, gooseneck kettle, and hand movement, all contribute to a better tasting and enjoyable coffee.

This was just what we were looking for. It filters grounds very well and is quick to use and easy to clean.

Very easy to clean; you can just rinse it under warm water or use soap. This filter can block off water if poured in gently. Just make sure to set your burr grinder to a bit more coarse setting, and then it will have no issues if you don’t like coffee residue in your cup.

Habe dieses Kaffeesieb gekauft da mein altes ein löchlein hat aber bei diesem Sieb kommt mehr Kaffeesatz mit durch als bei meinem alten mit löchlein. Vielleicht nur für groben Tee zu gebrauchen.

Already had a stainless steel, double wall filter which i use at work. It cost less than half the price of this one and leaves very little sludge in the cup. This LHS filter is single wall and doesnt filter quite as well. I do like how the base separates from the body which makes it less likely to be damaged. The base is also quite large allowing it to sit safely on most cups. I like how there is no waste of paper and the grounds can go into compost. It’s easy to clean, looks pretty, makes a quick cup of coffee but I do think it’s expensive for what it is.
