great for the price.
Do not expect brass, this is aluminum with a decent finish on it. if you plan to adjust it too much it may scratch the finish after a while, but mine is set to the height I need and I do not expect to adjust it again.

Is a statement piece of sorts
I ultimately decided to return the device as it does not meet my purposes. I intended to use this not just with the included v60 funnel style brewer but with other single cup brewers. Unfortunately the arm portion of the ring narrows towards the ring and is not flat, while the ring if flat/level and I place my plastic v60 size 02 brewer on it it isn’t level. Ultimately a small nitpick but aesthetically unpleasing to me if I were to tilt the ring and make my brewer level.
For the price I would say the build quality was above what I expected. My particular unit didn’t stand up straight but it was extremely snug in the foam packaging. Minor cosmetic defects like a scratch on the glass brewer and the ring also factored into me returning it.

It’s good for fresh ground coffee. I hate coffee ground residue in my cup, and I’m pleased to find that the filters hardly leave any!
I will buy a second one as a birthday gift for my friend!

Not worth the price.
Unless keeping the ring attached straight in line with the supporting rod, it was crooked.
The base was stable, wood veneer, slightly bubbled in places.
Carafe arrived broken.
Overall seemed very cheaply made for the price. Returning and will get something similar.

Not heat resistant
Wood feels cheap/plastic- I believe descriptions said it was bamboo? Questionable. bBase is not heat resistant. After two uses there is heat stain on base. Love the glass filter, pot and stand- will keep for that alone.
