Absolutely delicious! After drinking this as coffee or as an Americano, I became very spoiled. It’s very difficult to buy a coffee outside (coffee shop/restaurant) as nothing really compares. You just can’t drink regular coffee anymore.

Nothing Beats This Coffee
I’ll never drink bitter Starbucks again. This whole bean coffee has a rich, smooth, full flavor. Super Crema is my favorite. There is also a darker Espresso bean available, which I also like. My Jura coffee machine can’t use a flavored bean, as is the case for most coffee machines, or will ruin the coffeemaker. It hasn’t been easy to find a bean I really like until I discovered the LavAzza brand. I highly recommend this brand.

It might not be the freshest option, but it is the most consistent for me!
Ever since I bought a Breville Barista Pro espresso machine, you could say I have turned into an espresso snob, fully diving into getting that perfect shot of espresso. I weight my dose every single time and I dial in the grind specific to each bean batch. In the world of espresso snobs, number one rule is using freshly roasted coffee beans, more specifically best 2-3 weeks post roast date for the perfect experience and taste.Well I have done that but I must say, I always pull the perfect shot with these beans. I have logged the grind setting for this bean and it never lets me down. Perfect, consistent shots. 18 gram dose, 30-35 seconds and it yield 36-38 grams of espresso without missing! I have not found this type of consistency with any other batch of freshly roasted beans. The taste is what you would expect from Lavazza. It is toasty, nutty and has hints of chocolate. They have nailed the roast on this and It doesnt matter when Its roasted, I am never dissapointed with the taste of this specific roast. Bravo Lavazza!

My favorite coffee
I’ve tried several different brands and roasts, and the Lavazza Super Crema is what I keep coming back to. It’s a good medium-light roast that brews very well in a French press. A coarse grind produces the best flavor. I usually buy a 2x 1kg pack every 6-8 weeks, and the bulk price is very reasonable for my daily coffee.

Excellent beans for Breville Infuser Espresso Machine and Breville Smart Grinder Pro
I’ve tried man beans from Amazon and finally found this which works well with the Breville Smart Grinder Pro. You want to aim for 15 – 15.2 grams of coffee for two shots of expresso with a grind setting of 2. The time setting varies but I have it at 14.4 seconds, adjust accordingly.

Great Coffee in a Melitta SS Thermal pour over
I bought Lavazza Super Crema espresso beans because my nephew made me some in his DeLonghi Dinaminca and I loved the flavor. I tried them with the regular pour over Melitta cone and maybe I didn’t grind it finally enough I don’t know it wasn’t great. But then I tried it with the new Melitta stainless steel thermal. 51 g finely ground beans like espresso fine, 215g heated milk into the SS Carafe +1105g boiling hot water, first I get a starter bubble and you can see the crema and then I pour in a couple of hundred grams at a time until I get to 1105. The coffee is magnificent and it’s the best coffee I’ve ever made. I don’t know why but something about this carafe and the thermal insulation must make the coffee steep even more and it comes out great. I drink a lot of coffee like 40 oz in the morning so I don’t want to sit there and make me 3 oz cups in an espresso machine and this is perfect. I wasn’t sure if it was going to work with espresso beans but you have to almost make a powder and like I said I think the heat from the thermal carafe enhances the flavor. People who buy this combo will be very surprised and I would love to know anyone who buys it and isn’t surprised. Everyone has to adjust to their own taste but for me the 51 G of the coffee in a blade grinder was perfect and all the other measurements were great and I use lactaid regular milk. I may experiment with a little bit more coffee and a little bit more milk and maybe some cinnamon to see if I can come up with something like a latte but you’d be surprised how good this coffee is going to taste in the carafe if you buy the right coffee and the super crema was really GREAT. I also trie the carafe with what I had left from the Kirkland’s ground it wasn’t like the real Lavazza espresso beans. Good luck and play with it! The carafe I used was the Melitta 60 oz stainless steel thermal carafe. I got the coffee from Amazon and it was from Italy Best Coffee that fulfilled it and I couldn’t be happier with them. Expiration dates for long into the future I highly recommend them for coffee.
