I was pretty devastated when they did away with Gran Selezione and I’ve been drinking Perfetto since (which is a good one in its own right). I stumbled across Rossa by accident and thought I’d give it a try and I’m so glad I did. It’s incredible! Best coffee I’ve tasted in a while! It’s definitely a smaller bag, but I treat it as a dessert and only have 1 cup a day to make it last. Lol. 1 cup of Perfetto and 1 of Rossa and my day is complete. 🥰 Will be getting some for my mom to try!

I felt that this coffee was too bitter for my taste. I tried it in a regular coffee maker and an espresso machine. It is definitely better as an espresso, but I still felt that it was not as smooth and well rounded as other Lavazza coffee/beans.

I like it. This comes ultra vacuum packed, which I really appreciate. And the grind is pretty fine, which I’m guessing is why it’s used for Espresso, as well as coffee. I’m no expert or aficionado. That being said, I drink coffee, and this brews really good. It goes down real smooth. I definitely get the chocolate notes here, and it tastes great with vanilla, sweet cream, or hazelnut creamer. Do I like this more than Lavazza Classico medium or House Blend medium? Maybe, this one surprised me. Its really good, and if you are on the fence, its definitely worth trying. My only gripe, its not cheap.
