Finally a true light roast!
So many companies sell light roasts that are essentially medium to dark, these beans are definitely a light roast with a smooth flavor, excellent product!

Great organic light roast coffee
I like the light roast coffee – it is smooth and better for the health. I am completely satisfied with its taste – I brew it strong, but there is no burnt smell. Love it. I order it regularly.

Excellent choice for the price; maybe needs espresso brew
Lovely flavor. But in my drip coffee maker I have to use a lot of coffee to get the strength and richness I’m used to. (Gran Selezione, which has no peer IMO.) Been blending it with darker Lavazza medium roasts like perfetto and Tierra! Reserva. Similar to an excellent Swiss brand I experienced last month in Europe, using a stovetop percolator, which did not taste nearly as rich when I tried it at home with an American drip style maker. So if I can score a stovetop SS espresso percolator I’ll report back with an update.

Not for espresso, at least not mine
Lavazza Organic Tierra! Whole Bean Coffee Blend, Light RoastHave tried other Lavazza beans and enjoyed them so I thought the organic Tierra! light roast might be a hit. It wasn’t. Will buy Lavazza again but not this one.First of all this coffee is not working out as an espresso out of my auto Gaggia Brera auto machine.It just has a bad taste. The beans don’t look or smell bad but the taste in espresso drinks are nearly undrinkable. These beans seem to be acceptable, almost enjoyable, in Americanos and ground for Kcup coffees although seems to have a lot of acid. After drinking a cup of this coffee my stomach seems to get upset. But that probably is just me. Half a pinch of baking soda in the cup seems to take care of this (cowboy coffee). My wife totally doesn’t like this bean blend.Received the coffee promptly in a bubble wrap envelope. No damage to envelope or coffee bag so no worries there. The “Best Before Date” was 30/09/2024. The cryptically coded date above it apparently said it was manufactured on May 11th 2022. One year and five months old already. For what its worth here is the text of a reply I got from Lavazza usinfo.com when asked how to read their manufactured date code;Thanks for contacting Lavazza!The first letter is a reference to the Plant of that specific coffee. Whenever we receive a claim we review this letter with the Plant of origin so they can investigate the further issue.The second letter is a reference to the month in which the Coffee was manufactured, in this case, E= May. The numbers indicate the specific date the item was manufactured so May 11th.The last 2 letters are for internal use. So in this case your coffee was manufactured on May 11th, 2022 in one of our Italy’s plants.The 30/09/2024 is the Best-before date, please note that the Lavazza Group product indicates how long the product will retain its fragrance, aroma, and body characteristics in appropriate storage conditions. Past its best-before date, food is NOT considered dangerous or unsuitable for consumption.

Great coffee for any Jura auto maker.
Very well balanced and quite rich flavor. Organic, which is a plus. Roast is medium to light type, with good strength. Very tasty coffee and decent espresso. Highly recommend for any Jura coffee machine. I have S8 and those beans are perfect for any coffee drinks made by Jura S8. 5 stars.

I initially purchased this particular version of this coffee because it was the cheapest version of this brand. I wish I could say it was because this product is organic. But of the various other versions of coffee made by this company, this one is one of my favorites. The taste is bold and enjoyable to drink. I typically grind these beans and use them with my espresso machine or French press at work. Iâve always needed milk in my coffee, but the taste of this product makes the addition of milk unnecessary. I love it without sugar or milk. Iâve made the change to purchasing only LavAzza coffee beans. Better flavour and richer quality. You canât go wrong with any of their coffee bean products.
