I drink espresso (no milk) from a semi automatic machine.Got this at a good price. Though it’s an arabica robusta blend, I love the bright fruity notes. A delicious cup.

I bought this as a trial coffee as we normally buy the Lavazza Expresso intense . I will be buying the gold from now on. It got a nice strong but rounded flavour.

Super tasty espresso but has a big caffeine hit!
On a recent trip to Crotia I visited several cafes there and was very impressed by their espresso and was told many of them used light roast coffee beans.So I’ve been wanting to experiment with them when I got back as I have typically been using medium to dark roasts for my espressos.Oh boy, am I glad I experimented with these. My espresso is super delicious compared to the darker roasts but it has a much higher caffeine kick as my head is swirling a little as I write this after having a cup of espresso with these beans.Some reviewers claim you can’t make espresso with these but that’s incorrect. Give it a shot but make sure you’re ready for a bigger caffeine hit compared to the darker roasts.

Lavazza is my go-to for coffee
All lavazza is good lavazza. Iâve had a lot of coffee brands but lavazza is the one I continuously go to. There are a few other great ones out there, but you canât beat lavazza for the value and the fresh quality. If you want a great cup of coffee, skip everything else.

Gold Selection vs. Super Crema
My review isn’t so much about how good this espresso bean is because it’s just fantastic. However, I’ve found very little about the difference between this and the “Super Crema” version of the same Lavazza espresso bean.I started about a year ago buying Super Crema and love it. It is a fantastic bean. However, being the price had seemed to come down a bit on the Gold Selection I figured I’d give it a try after a year of Super Crema.The Gold Selection is absolutely fantastic. I love both, but now prefer the Gold a bit more.Crema: Not sure what makes “Super Crema” any different than Gold Selection. Both have a great deal of crema and it holds very well. I noticed really no difference and if anything, Gold Selection may have a bit more crema.Roast: The Super Crema is a lighter bean. It’s much smoother, with less aromatics. The Gold Selection is a darker roast and the aroma hits you upon grinding.Both are absolutely FANTASTIC. Here’s how I’d suggest using. If you like to drink your espresso straight with no milk, maybe try the Super Crema as it’s a bit smoother and more mellow. If you like to make lattes, go with the Gold Selection. I think the milk drowns out the mild flavor of the Super Crema a bit more than Gold Selection. I like to still taste the coffee. Sure you can use less milk to get the same result but this gives you a better overall drink JUST IN MY OPINION.

Comfy way to start the morning with very good taste and no bitterness or acidity issues!
Tastes and works beautifully in my Stanley french press. Make sure to use a fairly course grind though. I don’t usually go for Italian roasts but this one is really smooth and tasty. Beans came very fresh and witih excellent aroma right out of the bag, too. Grade A all the way. and I’ll get another bag soon, too.

Perfectly roasted with just a touch of honey!
I have an automatic espresso machine and these beans are perfect. The taste is a medium roast with full rich flavor and a touch of almond and honey! They are not oily or taste burnt. Lavazza makes the best roasted beans in the world!
