Delicious coffee — just be sure it’s the right capsule!
Full rich dark flavor on this one. Which I only know because I pierced the capsules and dumped the coffee into a pot of hot water and then strained it. Because I didn’t realize it wasn’t the right capsule for the Lavazza Blue Mini machine it was bundled with as a subscription. The sub price was unbeatable, so I don’t really regret it — of course I canceled it because I don’t really want (can’t afford) a new Lavazza machine every two months.Took me awhile to figure out what the problem was. Ordered the right size capsules for the machine I got — the only machine I have now that the Chinese espresso maker (with milk steamer) stopped working after 2 years, tho it was a champ for those 2 years. They arrive tonight, when I’ll finally be able to figure out if it actually works with the right ones. They don’t come in recyclable aluminum like these ones do; if i had a machine that took Nespresso Original capsules, these would be awesome. The aluminum keeps the grounds fresher for long storage, too. Alas, food items are not returnable, so I have to find a home for them. Or buy another machine.Wouldn’t recommend buying machines on BB subscription, but if you drink coffee regularly and use one of these capsule machines, you may as well subscribe when you find a coffee you like. This one, unlike many Lavazza coffees, is 100% Arabica beans: somewhat lower caffeine, less bitter, & more expensive than Robusto beans, but to me the taste is superb. I like a very dark roast and low-acid, low-bitter coffee, and this is certainly that.

    Wonderful coffee.
I was looking for capsules with fair prices or different from supermarket prices, and I came across this brand that I didn’t know. I went to check the reviews and saw some bad comments, generally saying that the capsule was made of bad material and that it didn’t pierce, and also that the coffee was of poor quality. I had already decided not to buy it and not waste my money. But I felt something inside me saying: Buy it and have your own experience. And I decided to do it. To my great surprise, the coffee is wonderful and strong, just like I like it, and the capsules last and the coffee foams normally, like any other brand. That’s why I came here to help the brand with my testimonial, something I don’t like to do, not even taking photos or videos for that matter, but I was so surprised and satisfied that I believe they deserve my effort.Thank you for the delicious coffee and fair price. You won me over as a custo

Love the Taste, Love the Look of the Capsule, But They Can Destroy Your Nespresso Machine
I have used over 700 Lavazza capsules a year for the last 5 years. They are an excellent flavor blend and the aluminum caps are attractive. I used the plastic capsules before the aluminum was available. So why 1 star? The newer aluminum design has serious issues. It fits well into my Pixie but the capsule is not designed well internally or the length isn’t quite right. Many times the capsule begins to crush under pressure and stops in mid cycle. Sometimes it locks up my machine and I can’t get it open without brute force. They are extremely hard on the machine and the pump. It seems that the problem varies somewhat from lot to lot. I get some boxes that operate fairly well and then about 40% of the time I have major issues. Also the problem seems to be greater with the Ristretto than the medium intensity pods. For a product made in Germany, I am so disappointed. My Pixie is over 10 years old and I really don’t want to kill it to save some money on compatibles. It seems the aluminum pod was rushed to market before all the design flaws were fixed. I expect more from Lavazza.

    Good coffee is basic!
Good coffee is basic and flipping from one to another I think I got the right coffee pods for me with the Lavazza intenso expresso. Plus the pods are aluminum so no plastic to release nano plastics into my coffee and my body.

    Taste yes build NO
IF you get a good CAPSULE, you can rely on the coffee, but Lavazza clearly dropped the ball on quality control/engineering of the capsules; current box at 50% fail rate—you’ve lost me!

Total überteuerte Ware, Preise variieren zwischen 80€ und 140 €. Damit das 5 bis 8-fache des üblichen Preises. Kapseln kommen aus den USA und man kann die Ware nicht zurückschicken.
