Nice Taste
This package looked like it was packed in about November 2022. So it’s about 7 months old as I write this.So I took a star off freshness. However it produced a nice shot with a good head of crema.This suits my taste just fine!Update… I bought another bag 35 oz, and am very happy with this coffee. I’m recommending it for espresso milk drinks or americanos.I’m running 16.5gr. in a Breville Bambino for about 30 seconds and 34 grams out. I do WDT and use a bottomless portafilter and a high extraction basket.I just don’t think it gets better than this in a semi bulk situation. I’ve had fresh roasted medium roast beans and this compares very well. It’s marked as produced 04/24/2023 and best by 03/30/2025. I received it early Sept 2023.

Excellent Coffee!!!
Lavazza Espresso Italiano whole bean coffee is excellent in every way. The beans are roasted to perfection. Amazing aroma, so fresh, and by far my favorite brand. I use my Aeropress to make a latte every morning. I like to add a sprinkle of ground cloves and cinnamon on top. Heaven in every sip. I suggest you try it. And, enJOY!

Not a Medium Roast
From all the descriptions I expected a medium roast. I would classify this one as a dark roast. It is a bit oily and has a bitter bite when brewed in my espresso machine. Definitely not “delicate”. If you like dark roasts this one is probably fine but I prefer the smoother, sweeter medium roasts. Also, the package I received was roasted in June and purchased in October making it 4 months old. Although still OK, I generally prefer coffee to be used within two to three months of roasting. Although the price is very good, I will not purchase this one again.

TOP CHOICE COFFEE BRAND
We love coffee! We use beans and grind on the weekends in the Breville Expresso Maker. We have an off brand coffee grinder (I will update with brand). The taste of this coffee did not disappoint. It was smooth and not bitter at all! We used 2 coffee scoops of beans and brewed using cold distilled water. I think we finally found a winner with a permanent place in our coffee bar!

Best espresso Iâve ever had!
My husband has been wanting an espresso machine for a long time. I found one for a good price. I began searching Amazon for the best quality, great reviews, and affordability. I chose the Lavaaza beans due to positive reviews. When I say this is the best coffee/espresso Iâve ever had, Iâm not exaggerating. I donât drink hot coffee often. Iâm an iced coffee girl. Occasionally, I enjoy a cup on the weekend. Iâve never really had a hot coffee that tasted like GOOD coffee. This is probably the best compared to coffee we had on our honeymoon in Mexico. You wonât regret it!
