I have had this La Pavoni grinder for about 10 years and use it daily. That’s well over 3,000 grinds. And…. I bought this grinder used…. and used by an espresso stand. The only thing I’ve ever done to this grinder was buy new burrs. They were dull when I bought the machine. The 10 year old burrs are still grinding smoothly, cleanly and easily. In fact, I’d say this grinder hasn’t aged at all over the 10 years I’ve been using it.This is a heavy machine – probably 25 pounds or more – built to stand up to heavy commercial use. For the home barista, this grinder will probably last forever. I have high praise for it’s durability, reliability and consistent grind quality.
