I love this little mat and it is perfect for small counters and drying your coffee gear. I would not use it for a tamp mat though. The little nubs might not last and coffee will get trapped in the grooves.

Mat does the job. Itâs easy to wash off. The only thing that gets me is I canât wipe it dry immediately as itâs a bit difficult to get into the grooves, but it dries on its own plenty fast so not a deal breaker.On the flip side, the same design gives a nice padded feeling when youâre whacking the portafilter on the mat before tamping and any coffee grounds that fall in kind of stay on the mat inside the grooves.
