New to me and a nice taste.
I’ve been trying to more regularly add fermented foods to my meals and beverages. I’ve tried bottled kombucha, but never found one that I liked. All the better to find so many good, packaged powdered products. To be sure, I’ve never heard of omija schisandra berry before. The back of the package calls it a forest berry. When I drink it, the berry flavor is overwhelmed by the contrasts between the citric acid, sodium bicarbonate and the artificial sweeteners. The berry is a very subtle part of the overall taste. No matter, most of us drink kombucha for the health benefits, and this is full of them. It’s simple to make and tastes good. This is good for anyone who wants to try a new flavor.

Contains SUCRALOSE
I was unaware this product contains the chemical sweetener substitute, branded under SUCRALOSE, prior to ordering. I do not consume any unnatural sweeteners of any type and this one is #1 on my list of ingredients to avoid. This is unfortunate, as I am a dedicated kombucha drinker – I literally have one every day – and the convenience of kombucha in instant powder format is indeed enticing. How I wish products clearly listed fake sweeteners clearly in the description to avoid confusion and allow consumers to make informed decisions without the need to dig deeply into ingredient lists. I will list this product as three stars for quick delivery and nice presentation. I’m certain customers who don’t mind sucralose will enjoy this drink, but unfortunately it’s just not right for me.

Artificial Sweeteners Ruin It For Me
These kombucha powder packets would be something that I would enjoy quite a bit if they did not contain sucralose. Unfortunately, I get headaches whenever I have sucralose, and the listing did not show the ingredients or say they contained artificial sweeteners, so I did not know ahead of time. I suppose I might have guessed from the low calorie count, but I thought perhaps they were simply unsweetened. I broke my rule in order to test these, and they are pleasantly fizzy and mildly sour, with an enjoyable berry flavor, but the artificial sweetener taste was definitely noticeable to me. If you don’t have issues with artificial sweeteners, these could be a nice, convenient way to flavor water and have a tasty beverage, but I wish they would have noted it in the listing, so I would have avoided getting them.

Schisandra berry kombucha
This kombucha comes with 20 packaged drink mixes. It definitely has a sparkling or fizzy component to it and mixes easily. I haven’t tried Schiandra Berry anywhere else before, so I don’t have a particular baseline to compare it to. It tastes mild in general but definitely has a sour component to it, which mixes decently with its mild sweetness. It uses erythritol and sucralose for the sweetener (the artificial flavoring is not as strong as I thought it would be). It tastes refreshing with ice. It is hard to say whether it really tastes like a “kombucha” though as opposed to just a sparkling drink.

So delicious
This is the second flavor of this product that Iâve tried and all I can say is I hope that there are 50 more flavors because I want them all. This is delicious, easy to mix, convenient to carry with you on the go, and the fact that itâs sugar free and good for gut health is just icing on the cake.

First off, I must admit I don’t have any experience with Kombucha. This was my first foray into this type of product, so unfortunately, I cannot comment on how it compares to other Kombucha. I actually ordered it to give Kombucha a try.These come in small sleeves which are easily cut at the top, then added to water. I wanted a large glass, so I added two packets, per the recommended amount of packet per 8oz of water. It required a good bit of stirring to get the powder to dissolve, but nothing off-putting. I then added some ice, but not so much as to ruin the foaming action at the top of the liquid.This is a very refreshing drink! I now see why Kombucha has a large following. It indeed has a slight sour undertone, but a sweet component which balances well against the sour. It’s light, crisp, and refreshing on a hot Summer’s day!Good product, and I will now be looking into more Kombucha selections.
