    Single serve coffee maker
I wanted to love this coffee pot, but unfortunately after four or five tries making a cup of coffee it will only dispense less than a half an ounce of water and it continually indicates the water reservoir needs water even though it’s fullThis is the second coffee pot in less than a week purchased from Amazon that did not work. It’s getting tiring buying from Amazon and getting products that do not work. And then toting things back to Kohl’s or Staples or UPS for all these returns very frustrating very unhappy customer

    Turned out great
When I first got it, I cleaned the pieces and ran 3-4 cups through, to clean the inside, but as a reviewer said, it had a bad taste. I ran water through several times to really clean it and now am getting a great cup of coffee! I also like the idea that is has a descale button, which will help to keep the inside a lot cleaner! I would definitely recommend it!

Keurig Schmeurig! This one is just as good, but for 1/2 the price!
When we saw this online, I was thinking “we already have a Keurig and don’t really NEED another coffee maker.” But once we realized this has the option of letting us ground coffee (which we also have tons of that isn’t getting used as much with the K-Cup brewing), my partner insisted that we try this out. So gave this a shot. But TBH, I wasn’t expecting much from this unit.Once we got the machine, opened it up and used it, it exceeded our expectations by a mile and then some.Super simple to use (the instructions make it seem complicated, but it really isn’t!. Just remember to touch the images and not the words for the machine to work! LOL) I personally love that it has the 14 OZ. feature (my current Keurig only has 12 OZ) and my partner swears the coffee coming out of this one is hotter than what the Keurig produces. It also has a “memory” function that can remember what size you last brewed and default to that size for the next time.It doesn’t have a major footprint re space (just the same/similar amount that a Keurig takes up), the water tank has sufficient water for about 30-34 OZ (so at least three cups, if not more). And did I mention you can brew coffee grounds too?I only saw two downsides to this machine. One, it takes a long time to brew the coffee. Around 3 to 4 minutes (yeah… I know) to get you a cup of hot coffee. It does not seem like a long time, but the Keurig is WAY faster. The other issue I had was the noise–it makes a lot more noise than a Keurig and I cannot keep this in my home office for that reason. Still, it has now gone to our kitchen, so we can get our AM cup of coffee without having to come into my office for it! :)Overall, absolutely no hesitation in recommending this one (unless you’re super sensitive to the noise level). Great buy and I’m glad we decided to pull the trigger on it. Would make a nice gift to someone who has been wanting to try a K-Cup brewer but hasn’t bit the Keurig bug yet.

    Makes great tea, too
I’m not a coffee drinker, but I do like my tea. I got this because it has the separate basket for ground coffee, but I use it with loose-leaf tea and tea bags. It works great and I have the convenience of quickly getting hot tea without boiling water in a pot or the microwave. It is very easy to set up and simple to operate. I washed everything when I got it and started making tea immediately. It has an Add Water indicator, but that only seems to work after it has run out of water (oops). I thought there was more water in it and ended up with half a cup of tea before the indicator told me to add water.I like that I can keep K-cup style coffee around for visitors and make tea for me. I’ve been using it multiple times each day for over a week, and it’s been fantastic. I can either put loose-leaf tea in the basket, and it filters the water through it, or I can put a tea bag into the basket and the water still flows normally and the tea that comes out is good.It takes up little counter space, which is very important in my galley-style kitchen. I love this little thing and don’t know how I got along without it for so long.

    reservoir tank was cracked
The item was packaged into two separate shipping boxes. The first box was fine. The second box had a hole in it. When I took the product out of it’s original box and removed the strip tape that was holding the tank, I saw that the reservoir tank was cracked. This was very disappointing because this was a Christmas present and my husband was very excited to use it.
