Great Coffee
I recently moved to Northern Tennessee and had to find a new brand of coffee bean. The majority of the grocery stores only carry small bags of coffee with very few whole bean. Not to mention the prices are extremely high. I used to be able to buy a two pound bag of whole bean coffee for under $15.I like fresh ground coffee beans. I went in search of a whole bean coffee that I could purchase in a 2 lb. bag. I have found the Three Sisters brand to meet my needs. The medium roasted bean has a smooth rich taste that my husband and I love. The price is about $12 a pound. So, all in all not to bad. ð

Coffee WIth a Very Unique Flavor Profile
As someone who considers himself a horse manure connoisseur I was very pleased when I opened this bag of coffee, stuck my face into the bag, and inhaled deeply. The earthy, musty scent of horse manure is very forward and unmistakable. This was such an amazing surprise, I became almost giddy. I could not wait to grind and brew a cup in my Chemex coffee pot. And I have to say this coffee does not disappoint! It tastes exactly like it smells and exudes all of the flavor notes one expects when one ingests manure. The only downside I can find is that it does not have the flavor of a fresh manure but more that of a manure that has sat in a pile for several months to a year. But considering I have never had another coffee that tastes so much like manure I don’t know that this can really be counted against it. Perhaps stale manure is the only manure flavor that can be imparted to coffee. Either way, I am a huge fan and this will be my go-to blend for life! If you are as much of a horse manure fan as I am then please do not hesitate and get yourself a bag of this wonderful coffee today.

Decent coffee
Iâm not sure what everyone raves about on this coffee. It is a decent roast, not oily and a true medium to dark medium roast. Iâm using my first bag for pour over coffee and am satisfied with the flavor. Iâd buy it again, but donât see it as a coffee to rave about.

Fresh bag! Expiry isn’t until may 2025!
Sometimes when I order Kicking Horse, it’s close to the expiry date. Not that it really matters all that much. But this order was great. Beans were fresh and has that 3 sisters taste.

Smoothest Gas Staion-Variety Coffee Ever!!
Based on the average review ranking of 4.5, we ordered this coffee.It was found to be dull with no flavor notes nor any taste depth whatsoever. The only attribute going for it was exceptional smoothness. If you like gas station coffee, you can rest assured this is indeed the “best” gas station coffee out there.We can purchase significantly better coffee beans at our local Seattle-based National chain and saved more than 30% at the same time. This coffee is the epitome of poor value and taste.And that is what we did – what a significant difference. This particular coffee went into the trash.

I highlighted the DARK in the title because coffee drinkers deserve to know a mostly recent health concern being ignored from discussion. Only within the last few years the issue of Acrylamide has popped up, a cancer causing chemical also created in the roasting of coffee. Contrary to original belief that a hotter and longer burn equals higher levels (kettle cooked potato chips have more than regular), a longer roast of the beans allows this chemical to evapourate and have less in your coffee (medium and light having more – instant coffee having the highest, but DYOR).So why not only drink dark roast if better safe than sorry with your daily favourite beverage? This selection reminds me of the strong flavourful roasts from that big brand on every corner but without the bitter taste or oily beans that can ruin my grinder.

This definitely is my favorite coffee! We buy beans for our expresso machine and this brand is the best! The smell when it’s grounded is amazing, and the taste is delectable! I love it and I definitely recommend it!

The coffee is delicious, and spouse is very happy. Getting into the package was brutal, and doesn’t “peel to open” at all. I highly recommend making it easier to get into, as well as making the top resealable.
