Swiss water process. A decaffeinated coffee should be exactly like every other one of our blends: deep, dark and delicious. And that’s what this is, a tip-top taste with a mellow finish. Enjoy.

    Best decaf organic coffee bean
I am serious about my dose of coffee in the morning. This is how I start my day with a good cup of coffee. I love the smell of dark roasted coffee beans grinded then brew in my camax pour over coffee maker. It’s expensive to get this kind of coffee in the coffee shop. So I am always looking out for a good coffee beans. I researched and learned about how decaf is processed and the best way is to use swiss water process. The 454 from Kicking Horse, while a bit pricier, is worth money. It’s a delicious, taste smooth, and has low acidity. This coffee bean give fresh, smooth and bold taste. When you open the bag, you can see fresh coffee bean. This is a quality coffee bean.

Great coffee, and I’m very particular!
Love the coffee. I cancelled my subscription order because I don’t need it yet, not because I don’t like the coffee. I will order it again as soon as I am ready for more.

    Love this roast
I have tried a lot of decaf, organic, swiss water processed coffee beans, and this one is my favorite. The brew is darker than most and the flavors is ….. well it taste like caffeinated coffee. It works will in my espresso machine and AeroPress.

    Tastes great for a decaf
The only decaf I will buy now. I knocked off one start because the price fluctuates and sometimes it is overly expensive.

    Excellent Organic Decaf!
I was searching for awhile looking for a good organic decaf coffee and decided to try this one. I was not disappointed! The quality was very good. I like a medium to strong flavor in my coffee and this fits the bill. I read that this brand is mold free which is very important to me as well. I purchase the whole beans so that I can grind fresh daily. A great cup of coffee! Rich, full bodied and low acidity.

    A bit inconsistent
Have already ordered my second shipment. This brand is delicious. Was never able to drink decaf as most I’ve tried were terrible. I am picky about having the Swiss water process and organic beans, so this fits my needs. Not as expensive as some others out there, but definitely not cheap either, but because it it both organic and Swiss water decafed, I am willing to pay a bit more.Update:Okay, so my third order, I went for the larger 2.2 pound package since I liked it so much. This time there was a noticeable difference in the appearance of the beans. They looked much darker and had a slightly burnt nose to them. I often make a blend of decaf and regular coffee so I am hoping my regular coffee will subdue any off-flavor from these over roasted beans. I do however sometimes make a full decaf cup and I’m not sure I am going to enjoy this. Yes, it’s a dark roast, I get that, but there is such a thing as over roasting. My regular coffee is a dark roast, but it’s no where near the darkness of this particular bag. I also realize there is a science to roasting and sometimes there can be variations in the way the bean responds, so maybe this was a “one-off” batch. I may order again since I know the first two times were great, but also may try another brand depending on how long it takes me to get through this big bag. ( I am the only coffee drinker in my house, but I vacuum pack my beans in mason jars in amounts I use up within a week to keep them fresher). Another option would be to get a medium roast to blend to soften the taste a bit. Time will tell.

Did a lot of research about decaf coffee, this one keeps coming up as the best reviewed on several websites. It is extremely expensive and impossible to get in Australia other than via Amazon. I even wrote an email to the manufacturer, to find out if there was any shop or distributors in Australia, to get it sooner or cheaper. Never received a reply. The coffee itself did not match my expectations in any way, I find it flat, a bit acidic and too dark and bitter. I keep including variations: less strong, more milk, etc. No difference. Won’t be buying it ever again.

I mean… after writing several of these reviews before, I am starting to feel like a broken record. The coffee is great. I don’t care if you don’t believe decaf is real coffee; this decaf coffee tastes great, and it doesn’t leave me addicted, and unable to sleep at night. 10000 stars.
