Was so keen to try this coffee out. I found it rather bland. Not a lot of flavour. It didnât meet the hype from current reviews. Pretty ordinary for such an expensive product.

I can’t even be mad.
This coffee took FOREVER to arrive. I ordered on the 3rd, today is the 26th. I almost forgot I ordered it, until the other day, when I started to become annoyed. In fairness, I think the estimated delivery date was around the 20th, I’m not positive. I guess I’m spoiled & used to getting things in one or two days. However…all has been forgiven – this was totally worth the wait. Just received my beans, and ground up a batch. I realize your taste may differ than mine, but this is without a doubt the best tasting coffee I’ve ever had…and it’s decaf! Sadly, doctor’s orders are no more caffeine, and I used to live on the stuff. Now, I’ll enjoy an iced decaf a few times a week. I’ve been using a popular brand you can find at any department store. It was OK…acceptable. That’s all over with now. This stuff is amazing. I don’t get where some have said it tastes burnt? You want burnt, go to that popular coffee chain. This stuff is SMOOTH. I can’t say enough good things…plus Amazon is now saying if I order more, I’ll have it tomorrow? Maybe they do it in batches, so it’s available now? I may take them up on that.

Hubby likes it!
This review is mine and my husbands, separately. First mine. I absolutely did not like the coffee! I felt it left a bitter taste and I couldn’t even finish my cup. However, since I’m not really a coffee drinker I’m probably not the best judge of coffee. My husband wanted coffee the other night and needed decaf, which I had but warned him of the bitter taste. His review is much different than mine. He actually liked it! He said it was very smooth and did NOT leave a bitter after taste. I dont know if this makes a difference or not, but i used a Keurig for mine and he used a french press for his. If anyone reads reviews like I do before purchasing, I’d go with his as he’s been drinking coffee for a long time and honestly, I just started several years ago.

Very nice smooth flavor
This tastes like coffee unlike a lot of the decaf I’ve tried before. I grind coarse for french press and steep 4mins at a 3-5 to 1 ratio for a closer to espresso taste. This doesn’t have a chemically or washed out flavor and very much resembles regular coffee only without the bite and buzz. Even at it’s heaviest concentration of 3 to 1 it still has a little bit of a lighter flavor but it isn’t unpleasant. If you want to get away from caffeine but love the taste and experience then this will do the trick for you and I highly recommend as I’m brutally allergic to caffeine and this is mild enough that I had no reaction what so ever even at heavy concentrations. A+ even my mom liked it and she strictly drinks burnt thick ink!

Perfect Cup
I’m a bit of a coffee snob and wanted a really good decaf without all the chemicals and that doesn’t taste like brown coffee water. This is exactly what I wanted, but didn’t think I’d ever get. Their decaf uses the Swiss Water Process to decaffeinate the beans, whatever that means. I was just happy to read that it’s a healthier way to remove the caffeine. I love two cups of coffee in the morning, but two cups of caffeine give me anxiety and the jitters. Soooo I decided to try this brand and am getting ready to place another order. It is perfect for me, smooth and has a nice body and a strong but not bitter coffee flavor. Thank you for the quality!! Cheers!

Decaf espresso is tough
Been trying to reduce my caffeine intake. I have an espresso machine and I like to brew a strong cup.The flavor on this coffee is OK, but I just can’t get it to brew as strong a cup as I’d like.

Rich Flavor
The 2 things I like most about this decaf coffee is the rich flavor and the quality and care in which it is made. It doesn’t taste like I’m drinking decaf coffee. Very happy with this coffee as I am with other Kicking Horse flavors!!

Great Taste
I am very picky with decaf coffee. The normal chemical process in decaf or the taste is usually not that great. This is one of the only decaf brands that I enjoy and the swiss water process makes it even better.
