NOW I finally get it
Never been a coffee drinker, but I’ve tried many times over the years, getting various coffee makers including the prestigious Mocha Master. Just never clicked for me though. I’d buy a coffee maker, try it out, and then give it away. Instant ones with pods, ones that use grounds. Didn’t matter.But I’m getting tired of seeing health benefits of drinking a moderate amount of coffee, so figured since I don’t DISLIKE it, I may as well go for it. And I still had the last thing I tried, a Nutri Bullet pod one, and just didn’t like it. Figured if I’m going to get serious, get something a bit more serious.This one came up with good reviews and the name brand was recommended to me by a product designer friend in Boston who actually has worked with this company in the past. So I took the chance.Night and day compared to my other coffee attempts. The unit is well built and designed, simple to use, doesn’t feel cheap. The flip up cover for the pod compartment locks solid, never hangs up and doesn’t rattle at all, it’s snug. Button presses work every single time. Never had to hit something a second time.Initially I wanted the water in the back to make it more streamlined, but I find I prefer it on the side for the ease of refilling.I haven’t bothered with the filter yet since we have really good water where I live.I like the option for the stronger brew, and the various sizes. I always just do the biggest size and strong brew. And I like that even doing a slower strong brew, it still finishes faster than the others I had when doing normal.I also appreciate that it STOPS DRIPPING when it finishes brewing. Some I’d have would drip randomly for a few minutes after I removed the cup.I’ve only tried a few different brand pods in here, and all work well. I like that this has the multiple water feed since I see they’re changing some things up so at least I’ll be more compatible moving forward with newer pods.For the price, this was a gamechanger for me. I’m now drinking coffee each day – at least most of them, since it’s still a new thing for me so not part of my auto pilot routine…

[The Good]Machine: The brewing is fast and makes good home-brewed coffee. Especially with the “Strong” mode and “6oz” option, you can taste strong coffee with different flavors easily at homeWater Tank: The water tank is spacious, and allows you to make enough cups of coffee for a full-day use. So you do not have to go back-and-forth to kitchen to refill for every cup you madeBrewing: Most brewing machine in market gave 8oz to 12oz, which gives me a flavor less than desirable. The 6oz option may be important if you prefer strong taste coffee[The bad]Coffee pods: Some coffee brands only make pods for Keurig / Nesspresso, so I would recommend you to check out the flavour you like and whether the coffee pods fit your own preference before you make you decisionDe-scaling: THIS IS IMPORTANT ! Although the product description did not tell you, Keurig machine have a “de-scaling” light, which would turn on automatically to ask you to clean it up. Although cleaning coffee machine is a recommended practice, there is chances that the De-scaling light would not turn-off even even after you follow the cleaning instructions. The consequences is that you can no longer make coffee once the de-scaling light is on. I have tried to repeat the cleaning process with running few bottles of distilled water, cleaning solutions, and the Descaling light still remain ON after 9 months of cleaning that I do daily/weekly.[Final Verdict]This is an excellent machine and produce rich flavor coffee when it functions.Problem starts when the “descaling” light turns on. Once it turns-on, you have to follow the instructions to perform cleaning process. For my own situation, after 2 or 3 times of descaling, the descaling light refuse to turn-off again. The descaling detection appear to be very sensitive, and there would be chances that descaling light do not turn-off even after cleaning the coffee machine according to instruction. There is NO option to manually turn-off the descaling light.Recommend to visit Youtube and search for descaling instructions and read the user comments. Appear this problem has been encountered by Keurig users.This appears to be a potential product design defect, so buy at your own risk

I like this Keurig coffee machine. I like the matte white finish as it looks so clean. When you have the unit sert for strong coffee, it does make strong coffee which I enjoy. It is quiet and works quickly. It is very stylish.

La anterior keurig ya estaba muy viejita y empezÃ³ a fallar a pesar de limpiarla con vinagre con cierta frecuencia. La Ãºnica desventaja que le veo al color blanco es que el cafÃ© salpica al momento de verter la taza de cafÃ©.

Quiet, compact, easy to refill the water, makes great coffee. The pearlized white colour is beautiful but the machine’s white backsplash and drip tray require constant wiping and cleaning to prevent staining. The same isn’t true for the stainless steel and black models.
