This product is supplied with a USA electrical plug, operates on 120V (USA) and cannot operate on the UK electrical voltage – 240V. When I plugged it in, the appliance fused. I now notice all the negative reviews for the same reason. It is absurd for Amazon to be selling the product to the UK market when it does not work in the UK.

Love this coffee maker!
I love this appliance. I only need to make one cup in the morning, and this is fast, easy to use and extremely simple to clean. The size is perfect and takes up little space on the counter. NOTE: I tried another brand of a mini coffee maker that was less expensive. However, it was inferior, had a terrible odor and the coffee had a foul taste. I contacted the company they were unresponsive. I reverted back to Keurig and so happy I did. I will never again compromise on quality.
