I’ll keep it short and sweet. This is my favorite coffee maker I own, and I own a Breville Barista Touch and a Nespresso in addition to the Keurig Brew+Chill. My first couple iced coffees were very disappointing, to the point I almost initiated a return with Amazon. But once I got the right amount of oat milk (or creamer) and sweetener dialed in I swear this is some of the best iced coffee I’ve ever had. Better than Dunkin and Starbucks for sure. Obviously the taste depends on the K-cup you use, and the convenience-factor adds some brownie points, but I don’t think I’ll ever go out and get drive-thru coffee again. The way the machine works is a little unique. Basically for iced coffee it has to “charge” over time. The first time you use the machine it will take 6 hours to charge fully, and once it’s charged it can make about 4 iced coffees in a row and still make them very cold (I’m talking sub-60 degrees which for coffee is insane). After that you can still brew iced coffee, it just won’t come out very cold. For hot coffee, it works like any other Keurig. But if you only brew one or two iced coffees in like a one hour time period, it charges very fast. The only downside I can mention is the fan noise–in order to work, the cooling apparatus has a fan that runs almost all the time as the machine charges. My house is open-concept, and I can hear the fan in my living room very clearly from the kitchen, which is about 30-feet away. I got used to it pretty quickly, and it’s MUCH quieter than my GE Opal Ice Maker. But it’s worth mentioning in this review.Overall I ADORE this coffee maker. It feels revolutionary. I got it on sale for $170, which for what you’re getting, seems insanely affordable. I plan on buying another one for my house in another state so I don’t have to haul it with me every season.

Was looking forward to a non-diluted iced coffee but immediately received hot coffee. Good tasting but hot. I heard a click when the brew started but no chill. Researched and found lots of bad information. Dug deeper and found the real reason… To ensure the chill function works, only use the usual, full plastic bottomed kcups, not the refillable kind with the hard plastic bottom, not the cloth bottom kcups. The reason is the chill function must use a separate needle in a slightly different position to siphon off the hot brewed coffee into the chilling pipes. With a cloth bag, it doesn’t hang low enough to be punctured (and it wouldn’t be a pretty sight) and the refillables have a hard plastic that can’t be punctured. I may be off on the tech but the warning is correct. I made my second cup with a normal kcup and no hot coffee came out immediately, but pretty soon, ice cold coffee was being dispensed. Strong, delicious and cold! Not sure they mention this anywhere in the manual or online, but it is definitely the proper method.Hot coffee brewed as normal and was so much more flavorful than my previous Keurig, just a few years old. Loving the front facing water reservoir too. No more reaching behind the machine to refill the tank. BTW, the chill tank uses water to chill the coffee but doesn’t need refilling but for once a year to top off. The only water the machine uses to brew is the coffee from the front reservoir. Not the chill tank.

This is the coolest appliance I have ever bought ! It makes the nicest coffee, cleans itself, has its own flash cooling part that makes true iced coffee and I can’t believe I own it!! Wow. Holds plenty of water, easiest filling I have ever had on a coffee machine. A pitcher right in the front. Priceless ! It’s quiet at optimum cooling with the fan but if it bothers you has a quiet button you can make it more quiet. So much fun and so exciting !

I recently upgraded my coffee routine with the Keurig K-Brew+Chill and, after several weeks of daily use, I’ve been impressed with its versatility, ease of use, and build quality. Here’s my breakdown:Pros:Versatile Brewing Options (Hot & Iced): This machine is perfect for anyone who loves both hot and iced coffee. The QuickChill Technology is a standout feature; it cools down freshly brewed coffee rapidly, so I don’t have to wait for my iced coffee to be ready. It also brews a nice hot cup quickly with great flavor extraction.MultiStream Technology: The MultiStream Technology ensures a fuller, richer flavor by saturating the coffee grounds more evenly. I’ve noticed a significant improvement in the taste compared to my older Keurig, with each cup being more flavorful and aromatic, especially when using high-quality K-cups.Large 70oz. Removable Reservoir: The large water reservoir is a huge convenience, particularly if you drink several cups a day or entertain guests often. It saves me the hassle of constant refilling, and the removable design makes it easy to clean and refill. Plus, the transparent design allows me to check the water level at a glance.Customizable Brew Sizes: The coffee maker offers multiple brew sizes, allowing me to choose between small, strong shots or larger cups depending on my needs. This flexibility is great for personalizing each cup, whether I’m making a quick espresso-style brew or a large iced coffee to-go.User-Friendly Interface: The digital touch display is intuitive and user-friendly. It makes selecting between hot and iced options simple, and the controls for adjusting strength and size are straightforward, even when I’m still waking up in the morning.Cons:Cooling Time for QuickChill: While the QuickChill Technology is innovative, it does take a few extra minutes to chill the coffee fully. It’s faster than waiting for coffee to cool on its own, but if you’re in a rush, it might not be instant enough for you. For the best results, I find it helpful to prep the machine and start the process while I’m getting other things ready.Requires Specific K-Cups for Best Results: While you can use any standard K-Cup, I noticed that the MultiStream Technology works best with specific K-Cups designed for richer extraction. If you’re using basic K-Cups, the flavor improvement might not be as noticeable, so it’s worth exploring different brands for the best experience.Takes Up Counter Space: The machine is slightly larger than traditional single-serve models due to the built-in QuickChill system and the large water reservoir. It fits well on my counter, but if you have limited space, it might be a tight fit. Measure your space beforehand to ensure it fits comfortably.Durability:Sturdy Build Quality: The Keurig K-Brew+Chill feels solid and well-constructed. The materials used are high-quality and give the impression that the machine is built to last. The removable parts, like the reservoir and drip tray, feel sturdy and fit securely, reducing the risk of leaks or damage over time.Consistent Performance Over Time: So far, after weeks of daily use, I haven’t noticed any decline in performance or any mechanical issues. The machine’s components, including the QuickChill system, seem reliable and capable of handling regular use. I appreciate that the design considers both durability and user convenience, making it feel like a long-term investment.Overall:The Keurig K-Brew+Chill is an excellent option for coffee lovers who enjoy both hot and iced beverages. It’s versatile, user-friendly, and built with durability in mind, offering a variety of customization options to suit individual preferences. The QuickChill Technology is a welcome addition for iced coffee enthusiasts, making it convenient to enjoy a chilled brew without the wait.If you’re someone who values versatility and durability in your coffee routine, and you have the counter space for a slightly larger machine, this is a fantastic option. Just be prepared for a slightly longer cooling process for the best iced coffee experience, and consider experimenting with different K-Cups to maximize the flavor.
