I bought this as a gift and I am told it works just fine, there is no need to buy paper filters anymore, the alarm is perhaps a little loud, it keeps the coffee hot, the color purchased was red and very attractive.

High Quality Coffee Maker, White with Silver Trim
First off I am a huge fan of probably anything Kenmore makes. This Coffee Pot is no exception!This pot is of high quality design and function. It has a wide mouth pouring spout and a larger handle than most other carafes. It has a beeping trigger that alerts you when coffee is ready and when the heating element shuts off in case you want to turn back on to reheat. The only dislike I have is that the Caution info is printed on the actual pot distracting from the beauty of the pot. I find that to be unnecessary to be posted there which is printed in English and French. I am surprised the designers did that.

We had a quite a time looking for a white coffee pot. I know there are a lot of black/red/stainless units out there, probably to avoid any staining. This pot is white and stainless. Our kitchen is all white appliances so anything else looks out of place. We kind of balked at the need to get filters for the machine, but when my husband had his first cup – of the coffee he’s had for years – he said, THIS is the BEST cup of coffee I’ve had in a LONG time. I would attribute that to the filters, and yes, a new pot. It’s programmable which was a must, and has a 1-4 cup feature (haven’t used yet, but ideal option), comes with a gold cone filter (my fussy hubby wanted). We were a little alarmed – well he was – when the machine beeped 5 times indicating coffee ready. However, he gets up earlier than I do, and I simply do not hear it a floor up, and our bedroom is not directly over the kitchen. I’ve heard it once or twice – not bad. Anyhow, I highly recommend this Kenmore coffee pot. It had GREAT reviews and I would say that the price is a lot more reasonable than other more bougie brand names, but has similar if not superior results – a really great cup of coffee. You can get the filters for the water reservoir on amazon too – a dozen for $16. We haven’t had to change it yet. There is a feature on the coffee maker that will alert you to when you have to change the filter – the guide that came with says every 70 brewing cycles, 3 beeps will sound and a CHANGE FILTER message will blink in the control panel. There is a Filter Reset button indicator on the front panel that will also illuminate. So, it’s a no brainer when to change the filter. We’ve had the coffee pot for about 30 days now. Anyhow, yep, we love it – you will too.

Beautiful & Smart
This coffee maker has a beautiful appearance on my counter. I wanted something white and bright. It has all the necessary functions for setting, scheduling, alerting, filtering, cleaning, warming and quick cup. Iâve had it about a month now and I like it more every day. I especially like that it has an adequate beep when brewing has finished since I am usually getting dressed and not in the room. It also beeps again when the keep warm heater is turning off, so you can grab that last cup before it goes cold. The mesh filter is a great money saver and easy to use and clean. This is easily the nicest coffee maker Iâve ever seen or owned.

Excellent, quiet, fast coffee maker
Well designed, brews very quietly and quickly for great coffee. Easy to program, fits easily on the counter under a cabinet. Doesn’t get hot or steamy on the exterior during brewing. Definitely recommend.
