So perfect and beautiful!
I was anxious about the teapot lining, but it is a nice shiny brown porcelain in both teapot, lid and cups.It is very smooth and well made. I put my SS kettle on to boil water and warmed up the pot and cups by filling with boiling water and let stand, refilled the Kettle and then poured out the water, dried the warm tea pot and cups, inserted the infuser and brewed brewed the most delicious tea and served it…hotIf you love your tea HOT…this is so special and fun to do. The teapot and cups are weighty and flawlessly lined and decorated. What a lovely idea, to make a tea set that is so beautiful and practical. Thank you!

More beautiful in person than in pictures. Works well, too! Btw, not meant for the stovetop, but holds heat of transferred water for an hour or so.

I don’t always feel compelled to write product reviews but this tea set is absolutely beautiful and well-constructed. It is HEAVY iron; seems to me like it really retains heat and somehow the tea just tastes better when you make it in such a heavy vessel, or perhaps it’s the shape. Not sure, but making genmacha tea in this thing was amazing. We previously had a fairly nice glass teapot we also bought from Amazon which broke. Glad we sprung for this much heavier and nicer quality item instead of another glass teapot + infuser combo. Totally worth it.Edit:Okay, the teapot is still great and I love it. But the infuser that comes with this thing… total trash. Falling apart with very minimal usage, and tea leaves got stuck in it SO easily. I am going to have to purchase another one, I guess, but it’s obnoxious that the one that came with the teapot itself and fits it perfectly is so poorly made.
