Very nice jars. They were just the right size. I changed how I store everything in my cabinets. These jars worked out very well. They’re very heavy and of good quality. And they seal very tightly. The glass is sturdy and the lid closes securely. I’ve bought more than one set over time. Priced well and great for keeping pasta, rice, oatmeal, etc. stored in the kitchen pantry or cabinets.You could use for flour or sugar but the opening isn’t quite wide enough to allow access for the larger measuring cup. But after saying that, I do use one for brown sugar. I have one of those brown sugar keepers in it so the brown sugar stays soft and ready to use. The half cup sized measuring cup works for scooping out the amount that I need.

We use various sizes to store pantry items: beans, flour, sugar, rice. The thick glass, rubber gasket and wire closures work well to keep stuff dry and airtight. Granted plastic would be less breakable but there’s too much plastic in the world already and with care they will outlast plastic.
