Smelled great when we pressed the bag to let some aroma out. Opened bag and beans looked fresh and glossy, smelled as expected- like vanilla. Brewed coffee and it smelled yummy. Sipped it and it was sour. Disappointing. Were these old beans that they slathered vanilla flavoring on to mask that they were spoiled? We’ve been known to let our beans get old (forgot to freeze when we took a trip) but even those were not sour tasting.
