A Must-Have Matcha Set for Tea Lovers

Nice gift set
I really like the quality of all the items in this set. Its organized well and has everything you need to make a beautiful matcha drink. It also makes a great gift Though I wish the box looked a little nicer and was sealed ( the box was not sealed) . Otherwise its a nice set.

If you know you need it then you need it!
We drink matcha by the ton in this household. When you put away those kind of numbers, you quickly realize being able to make it at home is the cheapest and best way to do it. Equally, you then have more personal control over the taste and quality.In this kit you get a very well put together and packed set of 8 tools that, while not all absolutely needed, will help you a lot to make a good matcha. The key item is the whisk, which once you have used one you may never go back to any other way of mixing your powder. It REALLY makes a difference. There is also a lovely bowl with lightly cupped edges to help keep fluids in and to enhance the mixing power.The other tools are more for ceremonial tea making if anything. You can use them all and feel very fancy but unless you are preforming for guests, it may not be all that important you have a matcha spoon or a cup to hold it. They are nice to have but not work-a-day items. The mat is also a beautiful print and very nice but not exactly a needed item.I think the packaging is worth an extra note. Everything is well separated and held in place with good, thick padding. Its very easy to put back in the box! So as a gift or something you pull out as a full set, the box is helping you a lot here.I will say I wish the glass were a little thicker and/or ceramic. Ceramics tend to hold heat just a touch better and look a little nicer. By no means a deal breaker and I have no complaints about the appearance or quality of the glass. But I feel like its worth noting in this case.
