Way better than I imagined!
I followed the directions on the bag but also the advice of other reviewers- i did 3 teaspoons of the matcha mixed into 1/4 cup of warm/hot water, used my milk frother to stir, poured it over ice. Then I frothed up a cup of fairlife fat free milk and dumped it into the cup, using the frother to blend the 2 mixtures together. I’ll say my first glass, I wasn’t thrilled with.. but I tried plain matcha once and couldn’t do it! Then I found myself wanting another one.. and now, I’m hooked.. send help lol. This vanilla and earthy flavor go so good together, I love it! Now I want an iced vanilla matcha latte all the time! Buying more and can’t wait to try the strawberry. Excited to see how it affects my health, and also loving that it doesn’t give me the jitters. It mixed well, didn’t clump, and yes there’s some sugar granules left but they use cane sugar, so that’s to be expected. I think the quality is great, personally, it’s a rich, bright green rather than a dull and dark, swampy green. I’m very happy!

Matcha!
I first tried the instructions on the package for a hit matcha but found the taste way too weak. So next time I doubled the amount of matcha powder while leaving everything else the same and it was perfect! Great flavor. Slightly sweet. I used an electric whisk frother which almost made mixing the matcha very easy. Great product, great color, will buy again!

Amazing Taste, Easy to Make
Super simple instructions on tub and the quality and taste are perfect. It is definitely a great substitute for the ones from Starbucks and will save you the time and money.

Something is Off
I normally love Matcha from Jade Leaf and have always bought this brand in the past. This last container is a different story. It looked funny the moment I opened it. It had a darker almost brown cast to it. I still had some Matcha left from my previous container and could clearly see the difference in coloring. The matcha in the previous container was a brighter green. It’s expensive so I went ahead and made a few Matcha lattes. Definitely a difference in taste. I’m not sure I’m even going to finish the container because it just tastes off. Very disappointed with this last batch and not sure I’m going to try Jade Leaf again.

I have tried other blends of matcha, but this one tastes the best in my opinion. It does have a significant amount of added sugar, but I usually add in my own sugar anyways. The formulation of this product is also unique, in that it’s condensed in these little micro balls that don’t clump and easily mix with hot water, cold water, milk or milk alternatives. I have since upgraded to purchasing the larger bulk pack.I can’t really speak for the quality of the matcha, because when milk and sugar is added it just tends to taste good. But as long as there are no heavy metals in this product I will continue to buy it.
