Great coffee, incredible price
I bought this to take to my momâs house. I tested it first to be sure it worked ok, and was very pleased with the functionality and quality, so much Iâm considering keeping it at my home and giving her my old cuisinart coffee maker instead (sheâs not a coffee drinker, itâs just for when I visit). The dimensions are a bit longer – sticks out onto the counter a fewInches more, but not a problem. I appreciate the function to adjust the brewing strength as I often just make a couple of cups. I like the detachable reservoir for east filling and cleaning. But most important is the taste and this model delivers a really great cup of coffee!! Btw I use paper filters, not the included gold filter.

Not happy
The product looks good, but it leaks from somewhere even before I pour the first cup I can here it sizzle on the heat plate. When I do pour a cup it drips from the side of the pot. Not just a little, but quite a bit. Not happy with this purchase and I don’t recommend it.

Makes strong tea
I know it’s a coffee machine but I use it for tea. The difference between tea and coffee, tea needs to be brewed hotter and longer, this machine is capable of it. I have also tested a lot of machines to make my tea, and I found that “Instant Infusion Brew Plus 12 Cup Drip Coffee Maker”,makes the best and strongest tea I have had from a machine. It has a very wide showerhead, it pre soaks the tea, and I leave it on small brew batch and strong brew, that way the tea has more time to brew. Makes the perfect moring cup

This review is specifically for this regular drip coffee maker by Instant Pot: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0BZ1Y2SRH?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details&th=1 (most of the reviews here are for a different combo version).Overall, the design and functionality are nice and it does what it does. Bonus points for having a completely removable water reservoir that can be washed/dried. This drip maker uses a cone type filter (and includes a reusable gold cone filter). My preference is for this conical design since it extracts the most flavor out of the coffee grounds since it has to funnel down this way. The controls are easy and straightforward to understand and the entire unit is fairly compact for a 12 cup brewer.The really bad point (where a lot of points come off) however is the carafe. It’s really poorly designed and leaks all over the place while pouring because of how the plastic portion that covers the glass lid area is done (it’s not a complete seal so when you are pouring coffee, it gets under that part and leaks out. This design also makes it difficult to pour all of the contents out (including after washing, there are so many spots that water gets trapped including the outside handle area where a plastic section covers the glass. I’m looking for a replacement carafe (with the right dimensions) since everything else about this coffee maker is functional (and the brew it makes has been consistently good).

Pleasantly Surprised!
I have been looking for a simple drip coffeemaker for months.The designs and pricing put me off from buying.I found this one by accident when doing an “Instant Pot” search and I am glad I did.I think it is one of the better made coffee makers I have ever purchased.It is a simple, elegant design and easy to set up for use.And I was pleasantly surprised by the weight of both the maker and carafe, nice and sturdy without being heavy or awkward.There is only one question I have “where can I purchase replacement water tank filters”? I sent an email to Instant Pot Brand and received a standard issue reply -we are still sorting it out.Should I recieve good information I will share in an update.Update – Mid October Instant Pot made a generous offer but as of this update – Dec – that offer remains unfulfilled and update is only received if I follow up. Today I asked if they would like to cancel their offer ignorer to resolve this situation. This company may make great appliances but customer service needs some improvement.

Nice coffee pot
It is programmable, has brew strength option, and water reservoir for a very reasonable price. We had a single cup coffeemaker with a reusable filter because we drink 2-4 cups during the work week. The problem was when we had guests and needed to make multiple cups. Love that this has a reusable filter, warmer, and small batch setting (it will brew all the water in the tank so button is a brew adjustment not a volume adjustment). So far so good and we have limited counter space so this size is ideal.

Worst customer service ever
They sell a product like this coffee maker and have no way to get any info about it. Info like where to get replacements for their 1 of a kind charcoal filters that they make such a big deal about it being an important feature. You are given 1 filter with the maker and no link anywhere in operation manual or online. Why bother even having that feature listed at all. Also there is nowhere to get a replacement carafe which is nearly impossible to pour from without spills unless you hold the lid up when you pour. Then the steam from the hot coffee burns your thumb. To be fair it does make good coffee.
