Really love this quite a lot – makes strong and great coffee. Wish you could use tea bags, hence the 4 stars, but it makes really great cold brew, easily and well!

I am so happy with this cold brew coffee maker. Iâve used it many times with no issues and it has saved me a ton of a money making my iced coffees at home. It only takes 15 mins to make then just pour it over ice and go.

I love this thing
Instant (the company) for all its popularity and ubiquity is still, in my opinion, seriously underrated. I won’t say that this is the end all highest end cold brew maker/method of brewing. But it’s definitely a well crafted, quality appliance and it’s SUPER convenient. And it makes very satisfying cold brew in a fraction of the time.For the 20-30 minutes it takes, you get a very good result. And it’s easy to store. You can use the pitcher for conventional cold brewing, though there’s no reason to when the instructions tell you how to make a middle ground machine-assisted overnight brew (run for 5 minutes in the dock, then set in the fridge for 12-15 hours). It’s optional, but the yield is nice and still quicker than the traditional 24 hour method. And you can cold brew tea. So it’s nice to have a somewhat easy to store non-unitasker.Needless to say, I’m VERY happy with my purchase.

Quick and easy to use.
The outcome is entirely based on the brand of coffee. I did Folgers and it came out watered down. Instead of being dark like coffee, it appeared to be tea. Taste was horrible. But i bought Bizzy cold brew and it works great. Bizzy is a concentrate so it last longer but the machine itself does as advertised. Its quick and simple to use. Only real issue is the cleaning process. The glass keeps the contents cold and the lid stays on. Look nice on the counter and for the price it was worth it.

Coffee tastes better than a standard coffee maker
The good:Comes with a scoop, electric base, a pitcher, and a basket that fits into the pitcher. The basket has the extractor blade in the bottom, which is removable for cleaning. The pitcher is dishwasher safe.Coffee tastes much better with this device than a standard coffee maker. You can make iced coffee or iced tea in 20 minutes. Just add ice or place the pitcher in the fridge. You can adjust the time it extracts from 1 minute to 30 to make it taste as bold as you like. The instructions booklet suggests a few preparation methods, such as extracting 5 minutes and placing in the fridge for 24 hours.If the base ever breaks, I am happy that the pitcher and strainer basket would still be usable for a fridge cold brew.The bad:I don’t love the touch screen style because sometimes you have to press in just the right spot for it to respond.While I like that you can remove the bottom of the strainer for cleaning, the material is like aluminum and I am afraid to squeeze it to hard and make a dent. It can be hard to get the bottom screwed on perfectly.I noticed the price has gone up for no reason since I bought it in May 2023, so make sure you get it on sale. This device is pretty simplistic, you could probably get similar results blending coffee and water in a Nutribullet and straining, so $70 seems a bit high. I think I paid $50.

Cold Brew in 30! Sign me UP!
Cold brew is probably a keystone to my survival as part of the human species. Let’s just say… I don’t really like people all that much, and being surrounded by them day to day at my job makes me testy. Cold brew takes the edge off. It’s not bitter, definitely not acidic as hot coffee tends to be, and no brainer here, cold brew has been proven to contain more caffeine than it’s hot counterpart.For a long time I used a pitcher and filter bags, and as well as that works, leaving it to sit on my counter for a whole 12-24 hours is not ideal for me.Instant Pot has been a trusted name in my house for quite some time, and I figured I’d give this a go.I have not been disappointed.The filter insert is large enough to make a nice concentrate or add less and get a smooth cold brew. Let’s face it though, I need all the encouragement to be a functioning member of society, so concentrate it is for me.Fill the pitcher to the line, put your grounds in the filter, insert filter, top with lid, sit on base, set time, and hit go. That’s in.In about 30 mins, you are ready to go.I pull my filter and sit it inside the mouth of the pitcher to let the excess liquid drain out of my filters, and then they are ready to dump out into the trash, or if you are a gardener, into the compost bin.The filer screws off on the bottom to make cleaning it out much easier.The only thing I would ask them to change it to make the entire top of the pitcher removable, so hand washing is easier, but honestly, if you stick a sponge inside and work it in the gap, you are fine and it cleans up easily.

Good for faster cold brew
I always forget to get my cold brew pitcher ready for the following day. Low noise. Easy to clean and set up. Works as expected. One time, it wouldnât start and kept turning off, but I think maybe itâs because the bottom of the pitcher was wet and it messed with the connection to the base but it hasnât done it since then. So Iâm sure that was user error and not a product error! Would recommend to friends.

5/5 for me, I notice some of the reviews are people that did not problem solve at all, one person said the lid does not screw off, it most definitely does so no issues cleaning it. Another review stated getting bits of coffee through the filter. I would imagine fine grinded coffee this would be possible but I have my own grinder and I grind it on the largest setting it has and I never get bits of coffee In mine. I used to go to star bucks every day and spend 7$ on a cold brew, so this machine is a game changer at a small cost !
