    I ordered this in 2021
I ordered this in July of 2021. It is now May of 2024 & it has held up perfectly with no issues. I accidentally broke the glass that holds the coffee, but I have SO many cups that I’m able to just stick in there instead & they fit perfectly. After I bought this machine, It has been very rare that i drink coffee from any startbucks/scooters locations! This machine really does work good. You definitely save money in the long run. If you’re looking for a good & affordable espresso maker, this is it! 🥰

    I LOVE THIS MACHINE
This latest purchase was my third in the last decade. I just bought it as a backup when my second unit fails. You gets years of daily use out of these, with just an occasional descaling using vinegar. They make a nice cappuccino. I use skim milk for the best froth. (Oddly Lactaid skim milk is the best of all for some reason.)I’ve been making cappuccinos daily since about 1990 using this price point machine, and this is the best once ever, including other earlier IMUSA models. I figure I’ve saved enough money on coffee shops that it probably paid off my house, lol.

Loved it until it stopped working!
I love the large capacity and that I’m able to make four shots at once, very convenient when you love strong coffee. The machine was easy to use and def paid itself back within months as a macchiato will run you $5-$8 at most coffee shops. I don’t drink coffee everyday, so my average use was about 8 times a month, and after three years the start button stopped working. I hate for a good machine to go into a landfill so I tried take it apart and see if I could repair it, but the springs had rusted. I never put the base in water so not sure how moisture got in there and what caused this to happen. I’m assuming maybe from the steam. Debating on whether to buy again, for a low cost machine it works wonderfully but I don’t want to have to replace every few years.

Totally unimpressed, so far not as good as the cheaper model.
So far my old $25 IMUSA was a better machine. I find it hard to put the coffee holder on the machine, and when I did make coffee it was not even hot in the cup. So far I am not very impressed with this one.The flavor score is ridiculous because it all depends on the coffee you use. I was using a really tasty coffee and it tasted fine, just was not hot. The flavour was because of the beans not the machine. There seemed to be a lot of pressure behind the steam as I frothed the milk (somewhat good, but my Zulay frother does a MUCH better job), but that did not translate into making hot water or steam to push through the coffee…..it was only barely room temperature in the pot.My old one was a Model GAU-18202, worked better than this one and was only $25 when I first bought it.Today I returned the product after 3 days of trying to get hot coffee out of it, and it never got above room temperature at best.

    Hallelujah! Internet victory! IMUSA!
Ahh… Espressos/Cappuccinos/Lattes etc. at home for a GREAT PRICE! (around $50 plus $10 for ground espresso beans, I chose Lily brand very delish, and a $10 milk frothing pitcher, lookup Dailyart -and get the 20oz, the 12oz is too small!) This little buddy (which looks sharp on your kitchen counter) delivers piping hot espresso! You pour in the water, flip on the on switch and it heats up quickly, load the cartridge (careful full is indeed a quadruple, match how full with how much you need in that moment and the amount of water you use) and after a few minutes when the light goes on, lock it in and start it up! The only key is you have to steam your milk while the machine is delivering the goods, not a big deal to me but you have about a 4-minute window… maybe there’s another way but I think that’s how it is, so be ready and enjoy the turbo jet boosted caffeine power of the Imusa USA 4 Cup Epic Electric Espresso/Cappuccino Maker 800 Watts (the official name!) 😁☕

    Just Meh Big Regrets
Official Instructions PDF say NOTHING about the froth attachment. Was meant to replace a Mr. Coffee Expresso Mach. Because no porta filter replacement fits Mr Coffee of course and they dont sell a replacement ! Seems to produce better results BUT less quantity . Dosed double shot to the rim didn’t even tamp it … this thing either doesn’t hold and press enough water for the cycle to even make a double shot or its just a crap machine. Definitely would not recommend. Afore cited Dbl Shot quickly turns into watery weak brown coffee at the end of the cycle and you better catch it and remove your good product before its contaminated with this K-Cup “esque” spew at the cycle of watery nastiness. I should have splurged for a real brand name ..Addendum: the units very first description cites “reprogramming” due to grind or tamping but its an automatic machine, that would explain my issue with qty of usable product. Its an interesting machine but I regret it.

    great until it isnt
about 10 months is how long this espresso maker lasted. We did use it daily but really cheap and plastic on the knob that you need to use multiple times while you’re making it there’s no way to sing last more than a year if they decide to actually improve their quality. This would be a great machine, but until then do the environment a favor and don’t buy something you’re gonna have to replace in a few months
