Easy to use and works great for bookmarks
I bought this to seal the ends of plastic bookmark holders filled with sequins and stuff. I tried the smaller handheld plastic bag sealers but they didn’t work well and were a pain to use. This sealer made all the difference. Just plug it in – no waiting to warm up. Position the plastic and lower the handle until the light changes, leave it right there for a few more seconds and voila – done. No hot handle or heat strip to worry about before or after sealing. You may have to experiment a time or two to get the heat setting right for the thickness of your plastic. For my Photo Booth bookmark holders, I use it at a 4 or 4-1/2. Makes a nice straight seal that holds well and makes quick work of the sealing process.

this unit, in my opinion, is better made than the other models, durable and easy to use 🙂
I’ve look at several brands and styles of heat sealers, and this model was really nice and was the same price, or less, than the other models. Way underrated, total work horse of a unit, just plug it in and go! Works on all types of bags, i needed a unit that would work on high heat plastics, the kind that get boiled: worked perfectly! Nice clean wide seam, every time. I tried it on thinner plastics and the got the same results. I see this unit as becoming an everyday essential in my kitchen. Thank you Jinhong for making a really nice product, customer for life! 🙂

Great buy
the function and heat level was great. Iâm a presentation type of person and the heat line was so not visually appealing on my Mylar bags, so I did return it. If you donât mind the visual heat line then this is a great buy!

Arrived not working, but easily fixed
At first I thought I received a defective machine. But after looking closely at the heating element, I could see it wasnât attached (not hooked onto the metal bit under it) on either end. The machine has instructions to easily disassemble and replace the element, so I was able to re-attach it, and now it works perfectly. It seals quickly and works on various bag thicknesses. Having the ability to adjust the heat is a big plus.

ABSOLUTE BANG FOR YOUR BUCK
I decided to get this after paralysis by analysis because there are so many different types to choose from. This is an absolute game changer and worked even better than I thought it would. It is easy to use, a little flimsy for my taste, but works nonetheless. I sealed some homemade cookies and expected them to be delivered in two days, they showed up over a week later and the customer told me they still seemed fresh as if they were just made. A definite recommend.

Donât work
I received my product on the 20th of November, and opened it up on the 25th to start sealing my Mylar bags, however the product did not work, it would not get hot. I thought maybe if I press the lever down on the bag before it gets hot, this would activate it to turn the button red, showing it is workingâ¦nothing happened. The product stayed cold even after being on for 30. I was unable to seal my Mylar bags with this product. I had to use flatirons to seal all my bags. I was very disappointed with this product, and would not recommend it , nor purchase it again.

Works great
Love it and I canât believe it took me this long to get one. Works very quickly and it makes a very faint sound. Seconds. It goes. Team steaming how and I havenât gotten burned or anything but you can adjust temp.
