A Cozy Medium Roast Experience
I’m a bit of a coffee aficionado, always on the hunt for that perfect cup. illy Classico Whole Bean Coffee, specifically the medium roast, has been my latest experiment. This coffee has a certain classic charm to it â it’s like the comfort food of coffee. The medium roast hits a sweet spot, offering a balanced flavor without the bitterness some beans carry. The caramel notes are a highlight, giving it a warm, inviting taste, especially on those chilly mornings.Now, compared to something like Blue Bottle, which I’ve been a fan of for a while, illy Classico holds its own. Blue Bottle is often my go-to for a more robust, intense flavor, but illy offers a smoother, more mellow experience. It doesn’t pack the same punch, but that’s not a bad thing. It’s more of a relaxed, easy-going cup that’s great for everyday drinking.Overall, I’m giving it four stars. It doesn’t quite knock Blue Bottle off its pedestal for me, but it’s a solid, dependable choice when I’m in the mood for something a bit more laid-back. Plus, it’s pretty accessible price-wise, which is always a bonus.

Yummy. Used with Aeropress.
The tin was a little dented when it arrived. Based on other reviews I expected this. I ground 15 grams of beans in between a fine expresso and pour over grinds in my burr grinder. Using an Aeropress I poured 50 grams of water and stirred. I let it rest 15 seconds and added 235 grams of water (total 250 grams) stirred and steeped for 1 min 45 sec (2 min total). This produced a very rich and aromatic cup of coffee. There was a slight sharpness though. Tomorrow morning I am going to reduce the total steeping time by 30 seconds to see if sharpness can be reduced. Though, the cup i made was very acceptable indeed.

expensive, but the best taste
I’m Italian and I love Espresso. Illy is more expensive, but it has the better taste.Usually I buy the cheaper Lavazza Oro or the or the more cheaper Lavazza Espresso, but but when I need cuddles I take Illy.IMPORTANT: In my experience (and I think it is useful for everyone) if I grind this Illy in the same way as the Lavazza the filter clogs and the coffee does not come out, or comes out too slowly. It is important to grind it a little coarser, but not excessively because the machine (I use a Breville Barista) must still be pressurized for a correct extraction.

Best Big Market Coffee Beans!
Out of all the coffee have tried from the big market brands this is by far the best. Good balance and not too weak or strong just perfect. Makes wonderful coffee every single time.
