I use this little dosing kit daily, and I have zero complaints. Very pleased with the quality and look of the wood (so far). Dose maxes out at around 30-32 grams. Curious to see how it holds up over time, being sprayed with water multiple times a day.
And the sprayer works exactly as expected. Lets out a good, fine mist every time (see video), unlike ones that I’ve used from other “brands” that tend to sputter and squirt the first few sprays if you haven’t used them in a while.
This kit lives on my countertop, and between my pour overs and espressos, gets used multiple times a day. I’ll report back if I run into any problems with the doser or the sprayer, but so far, I’m very happy with them both.

While the dosing cup is nicely made, I find that the walls are a little too shallow. I much prefer dosing cups with higher side walls. I don’t really want to have to be so careful getting the beans into my grinder hopper first thing every morning. The water mister is fine, but the dosing cup shape is a big miss for me.

The material this dosing cup is made from is just bizarre – first off, it looks like coconut husk from some angles, and something that was 3D printed from others. If I stare at it and tilt it back and forth it produces a sort of moire pattern. Trippy. TBH I’m not convinced it’s actually wood and not a laminate or pressed pulp of some sort. All that said, I haven’t had the problems with the cup that some other reviewers seem to have had – it works admirably, and I much prefer the shape to the standard “bedpan” style dosing cup. The more open spade like shape makes misting easy. I haven’t had an issue with beans sticking to it, but chaff is another story. Easy enough to clean, though – a quick wipe down and it’s G2G.
The mister is epic. I love the twist out spray plunger gimmick, and the spray it produces is very fine. The twist out container is made of plastic, but the mister bottle itself is glass. The suction tube is quite long and sits comfortable against the bottom of the mister bottle so you don’t have to worry about cavitation when you spray at an angle. I do wish it were a little shorter and a little wider it’s kind of narrow and tall/top heavy, and I’ve knocked it over accidentally probably 20 times. These days it rests on its side most of the time because of this.
I do not go through the hassle of misting my beans each time I make an espresso – I frequently just need to get the job done and get on with things. When I do, though, I enjoy using this set.

Since I started grinding my own coffee earlier in the year had been using a small ceramic bowl on my scale to measure beans. Got this instead so I could keep a sort of set of dedicated coffee stuff off to the size.
I measure about 15 grams of med-light roasted coffee as my individual serving dose and in this bowl that ends up being almost exactly an amount that results in a flat bed of beans across the top of the bowl. If you dose more per serving, consider getting a larger cup.
It looks nice, is easy to hold and use, and its shape lends well to pouring smoothly into the grinder. The spray bottle is ‘cute’ but generic – it does the job of putting a light mist of water on the beans.

I have to remind myself…this was only $29.99 (at the time of this review). While the materials are quality for what they are, the overall product when assembled is not. For starters the directions show you to put the screws from the inside of the product where the wood would be held, to the out. I tried that and thought they had made the thing wrong, with too big of a hole for the screws (or screws that were too thin for the holes). It wasn’t till I went back and looked at the ad that I happened to see a picture with the heads of the screws on the outside, not the inside, that I realized the mistake that was made. Next, the short screws length is exactly that of the two pieces that it attaches. Really, they should be longer and have a nut and bolt configuration for the weight of the wood to be really secure (I know I would feel much more confident in this thing if it were built that way), and lastly, once you put it together there is a bit of a wobble because the holes they put in are slightly off. It’s not anything you as the one assembling it did wrong – you can’t. It’s most definitely them. It’s an “it will work for now” sort of a deal. The carrier is well made and looks to be very secure (as in the handles are sewn on really well and don’t look or feel like they will separate), but it seems to be much longer than it should be. I have one from a different rack that I have and it is a good deal shorter than this. This would make your wood awkward to carry…maybe even more difficult than not having a carrier at all. The whole thing is just not executed well.
