I read that I’m supposed to put 30lb of pressure to stamp down the ground coffee in the portafilter basket. The problem was I never know if I’m pressing hard enough. With this, there is no guess work! The pressure ensure my espresso is extracted correctly. Espresso came out with the right amount of crema, flavor every time! Product is well-made, heavy and looks to be durable.

This made my wrist hurt and flared up my tennis elbow. This was supposed to make tamping easier. Poorly designed and the package smelled heavily of perfume like they mask pesticides with for shipments.I reached out to the company email as instructed for a refund and they didn’t honor their satisfaction guarantee, they told me to return it to amazon. Update your product description if you aren’t going to honor your words. Bad all around – buy something else. The Lux Haus tamper I got is much better quality.
