Makes good espresso
I really enjoy having an espresso machine again. The price is right and it makes good espresso. It is easy to use. There is a trick using the steam wand, though. At first, it pours out water in a stream before the steam comes out, so I recommend using a cup to catch the water until it starts steaming, then put your milk cup under the wand.

Yes, coffee is essential in my household. Note carefully this machine is not designed to be used with pods or any such; I have to grind the coffee quite fine, tamp it down with a little press, insert it, and be very very careful to lock the coffee receptacle into place. That said, doing so does allow for far more flexibility than the pod-based machines does, as I often use the steamer to do just that to milk, add froth, or otherwise perform the full function of a classic espresso machine. I noticed no real issue other than, from time to time, a very slow output for no reason I can discern. Steaming works well, and once I got the hang of grinding coffee beans to the right particle size, all that went rather well, too.The price point on offer – some $100 when I got it – makes the IAGREE machine a nice value indeed and the current few dollars of coupon only adds to that impression. Throughput is adequate, although I will say, some leakage did obtain. Nevertheless, a good value as I said and worth buying as an inexpensive alternative.

Makes weak espresso
This machine is okay for someone who isn’t an espresso lover. I’ve had it for a little over a month. The espresso comes out weak weather I make a single or double. I tried using the double cup and pressed single hoping it would be strong enough but it’s no stronger than medium roast black coffee. And the grounds are still dripping wet when you remove the espresso handle to empty it. It’s also super loud but I suppose that isn’t totally out of the ordinary for a higher pressure machine however my last machine (krups espresso steamer coffee combo machine that took good care of me for almost 25 years) made better espresso and had much lower pressure so I feel like that says something. Also instruction manual says to wait 5 minutes between uses so the motor doesn’t overheat. There is a heating plate on top of the machine, but I would say its warm at best. So by the time I can steam the milk the espresso isn’t hot. I I wanted to make 2 latte or cappuccinos it would take over 20 minutes. I’m pretty dappointed and am now wishing I just spent the extra money on a well known brand.

20 Minutes to Heat Up
I really wanted this espresso machine to live up to the good reviews, especially love that the design resembles a slightly smaller version of the Cuisinart espresso machine I had for 14 years. But no where did I read it would take 20 minutes from turning the machine on to brewing coffee; does my machine have a defective heating element? Truly disappointed!
