Customers say

Customers find the beverage cooler works well with Keurig machines and effectively chills drinks, with one customer noting their coffee stayed iced throughout a commute. The product saves time and money, is simple to use and clean, and makes iced coffee convenient. However, the build quality receives mixed reviews, with several customers reporting cracks within months of use, and there are concerns about water leakage from melted ice.

    Works as good as advertised
Works exactly as described. I was skeptical but this cools your piping hot coffee to a smooth non watered down iced coffee in a few minutes. My only regret was not buying a larger one.

Where has this been all my life!!
I prefer iced coffee over hot anytime of the year. This is the easiest and fastest method of preparing iced coffee without being watered down that I have ever tried. I have tried many ways, including refrigerator iced coffee (brewed in fridge), k-cups sold specifically to make iced coffee, and just letting the coffee cook on porch in winter lol. None of these are convenient or quick, and the k-cups taste watered down. Now, I usually use regular k-cups, brew, and then pour immediately in the chiller. While I wait a couple minutes to cool, I prepare add ice to my glass. Usually by the time I get my glass of ice ready, coffee is about done in chiller. I just pour in my glass of ice, and bam, done!! I rinse the chiller out and put it back in the freezer. I only take the chiller apart and replace the water inside once every week or two. This is quick and has worked fine for me. Not sure if it is specified to replace water or when, but since the water inside doesn’t touch the coffee, it doesn’t need to be done often at all. I mainly replace the water just in case some is lost to evaporation after awhile.I suggest that if you use a j-cup, you brew into a cup with a pouring lip. I use a glass measuring cup for this purpose. When I used a regular coffee cup, I spilled some pouring into the chiller every time. That was an easy fix, and if your pouring from a coffee carafe, that will not be an issue. Buy it! I have used this everyday since purchase months ago, and it is still working great.

Quickly and affordable make iced coffee at home
We just got our HyperChiller and after one test run can safely say we love it. Filled it up, per the instructions, and left to freeze overnight. Yesterday afternoon, when we usually have our ice coffee craving, we made some coffee in our french press and poured it into the Hyperchill. After a little over a minute (while swirling the product) we poured it into a cup with ice and the coffee was already chilled to perfection. The taste was great too! Not overly bitter and definitely not watered down at all. We even filled up the hyperchiller a second time with the rest of the coffee from the french press. We let it sit a little longer (about 3-4 minutes while swirling the HyperChill) and again is cooled it down to a perfect temp for pouring over ice. So basically we got almost 25oz of iced coffee in a few minutes time. We’re excited for the cost savings we’ll see not buying iced coffee out as much. Some things to note• They warn you on the instruction sheet, but a little melted ice will drip out when you go to pour your iced coffee from the hyperchiller. There are some vent hold on the top of the product that the melted ice seeps from. I made sure to pour the iced coffee out over the sink so wasn’t a big deal. But something to be aware of.• the HyperChiller has to sit standing up in the freezer (otherwise the water will spill out before it freezes). Again, not a big deal, buy you have to make sure you have space in your freezer to sit right side up. Can’t expect to just place on it’s side or cram it into the freezer any which way.• Probably the biggest downside of the HyperChiller is there is no way to see how much hot coffee you’re poured into the top. If you’re using a Kuerig it won’t matter as it only created a set amount. But we were pouring from our french press so weren’t entirely sure how much we’d poured in. We had to be careful not to overfill. Not a big deal, we just took it slow, but would be great to somehow have a way to see how much you’ve filled the HyperChill. All that to say, it was a great first run. It’s mostly all plastic so feels a bit cheap at times, but it doesn’t feel like the product will break or be weak anytime soon. Overall feels fairly sturdy. If you’re looking quickly make some iced coffee at home, I would highly recommend this relatively inexpensive option.

Updated for V2 – Works As Advertised
11/29/18 – Updated For Hyperchiller V2I’ve had the original version for some time now and recently got this V2 model. And the V2 fixes the quirks that plagued the original. The concept has remained unchanged. But the original model had a leakage issue when pouring out the coffee. There were 2 vent holes that help with pressure inside the device, and the melted ice / water would come out when you tipped the unit steeply at the end of the pour. I used to have to cover both holes with my thumbs when pouring so i didn’t get water in my coffee. They fixed that in V2 so the hole is smaller, just a single hole now, and better placed. So there’s no leakage issues. The spout is slightly modified in V2 as is the shape being not entirely round like it was before.So..all in all , V2 was a worthy upgrade and I think they’ve perfected this device at this point!Works as advertised. Gone are the days of pouring hot coffee over ice and being left with watered down iced coffee, or having to make coffee in advance and have it take up space in the refrigerator! I have a Keurig and with the drip pan removed the HyperChiller fits nicely and the coffee pours right into the HyperChiller. My only issue, and it’s not one that applies to everyone per se, is that I make a 10 oz cup of coffee and this will melt all the ice in the HyperChiller. So at that point it has to go back in the freezer for 10 hours to freeze before being used again. I like to have one in the morning and another in the afternoon which can’t be done. It’s a surprisingly low tech concept and design so not sure where the $40 price tag is warranted. There must be some knock off’s out there for less than half the price.

I have had this on my mind for a while , I was a bit skeptical at first but I was amazed with how well it works , I tried both coffee and a fizzy drink , it chilled them both really quick. I would recommend this product to anyone who likes to drink iced coffee without dilution or just a drink or two that need cooling.

Absolutelyove this product! I love ice coffee all year round and some coffee grounds just don’t work well in a cold brew machine. I love brewing from my regular machine but don’t like watered down coffee. This thing chills your coffee in a couple of minutes. You fill 2 of the chambers with water and freeze. You brew your coffee right into it or pour from the pot. Then the coffee chills between the two chambers without watering it down. The price point is amazing and I am so happy I purchased it!

Follow the instructions and it does exactly what it says. They are big and take up a lot of room in the freezer, but if you have the space they are great at quickly cooling hot liquids
