Good quality – should last longer than most
I ordered this for my wife since she goes through these every year or so. The joints tend to fail after repeated use. I think this Hydro Flask model will last longer than others we’ve purchased. It is a bit thicker and has a silicone cap. The surface under the “wings” is also silicone – I assume this helps keep it cool to the touch so it can be handled directly. Overall, this is a nicer product than others we’ve had and should out-last them.

High Quality and Sturdy
This HydroFlask tea infuser is really high quality! I’ve used many tea infusers over the years, and this is one of the nicest I have tried. It is thick and feels sturdy. The holes are tiny, so water can filter through without any tiny tea leaves falling into the cup. The sides extending from the infuser (that you use to pick it up) have silicone along the bottom, which keeps them from getting too hot. I find that they still get warm right after using the infuser, but they’re not uncomfortable for me to touch. The infuser also comes with a lid, so you can cover your mug while the tea is infusing. My only note would be to double check that this is the right size you’re looking for before ordering it. This tea infuser is rather large. I use mostly large mugs (12+ oz in size), and this fits in all of mine, but I imagine it might be too big for smaller mugs. I also have a few different 20 and 30 oz tumblers, and this is the perfect tea infuser for those, because it fits nicely and holds a lot of tea leaves, so I can make enough tea to fill an entire tumbler at once. If you’re looking to use this for a water bottle, though, it would probably be too wide to fit into most bottles.

My Go To Tea Infuser Every Day
We drink tea every day in our house, and Hydro Flask tea infuser has been a wonderful addition to our daily routine.I’ve been trying to get away from plastic in the kitchen, so the fact that this is stainless steel and silicone gives me peace of mind. It does a great job of keeping tea leaves and other bits out of our tea and in the strainer. A few taps in the garbage empties most of the tea leaves, and I love that I can just throw it in the dishwasher, ready for use the next day.It fits perfectly in all the mugs we have, home or travel. The included lid also makes a perfect stand to put it in after steeping.A wonderful addition to our tea traditions!

Hydro Flask Tea Infuser Birch – brew tea at home or office
Got the Hydro Flask Tea Infuser Birch to use for loose leaf tea. It fits on top of most standard mugs and the holes are small enough that not a lot of tea leaves will escape. Made out of stainless steel and love that it’s dishwasher safe. Not sure why other posters are trying to take this on the go – it’s not intended for that and doesn’t fit or screw on top of water bottles. It’s for brewing tea at home or office.

Highly recommend
So happy with this! This feels like such beautiful quality. Iâm very impressed how it has silicone even on the bottom and a silicone cap. It feels very stable to use and doesnât bounce around in my cup. It even traps heat in my mug very well and I love how I can store it away on its cap if needed. Overall, they really did put a lot of thought into this and itâs just so perfect and such an upgrade to what I had before.

Works well, but check size and compatibility!
The product description lists the dimensions, and I really should have measured my Hydro Flask first, because this infuser is far too small for my 24-ounce water bottle. *facepalm* However, my husband owns a Hydro Flask tumbler, and this will work very well with that because the opening is wide enough. This tea infuser has very small holes to avoid loose tea leaves making their way into your drinks. I appreciate the attention to detail with the silicone pads to help the user avoid burning their fingertips (though it would have been nice if they’d coated the top and bottom instead of just the bottom). The only thing I don’t really like about this infuser is that it can’t be easily used on the go. It rests on top of the Hydro Flask but does not screw on or seal in at all, so any movement is likely to spill it. Also, the silicone lid does not seal on the infuser; it just rests on top. So it’s fine to use at home, but one of the main selling points of Hydro Flask products for us is their portability and ease of use on-the-go.

Great tea infuser for typical mugs
I don’t have a HydroFlask mug, tumbler, or cooler cup, but just a few of they’re 24oz, 32 oz water bottles. This does not fit in those, but I didn’t get it expecting for it to fit. I have a Yeti tumbler and this actually fits in this quite well. I mostly got it for the silicone sides (on the bottom) and the lid, which is nice for when you want to remove the tea bag. I’ll be using it with the loose leaf tea I have in a typical coffee mug. The infuser is extremely well made, feels solid, and the holes, while tiny, look decently easy to clean still. I’m drinking tea out of this right now and I love it.
