Love that these are super thick, very durable in case they are dropped outside on concrete by the pool. The grips make them nice to hold.After freezing these little gems they kept our drinks cold for a couple hours and feel their performance exceeded our expectations! I got this as a Christmas present as the person is obsessed with drinking ice cold sodas. Although this is for beer we figured this might work for sodas and it does! It turns the soda into a little bit of a slushy and it makes it taste even better. The glass is easy to clean and becomes cold in the freezer fairly quickly.

These cups successfully make my drinks colder. It can bring a full 16oz of room temperature soda to refrigerator temperatures in just a few minutes. It can bring a second filling down to very close to refrigerator temperature, too, if you’re fast enough.The one actual problem I have is that the inside of the cups are so narrow that there is absolutely no way to clean them without a bottle brush. So make sure you have one, or just go ahead and order one at the same time.I do have a few nitpicks: It feels to me that there’s too little freezing gel in these cups. As I said, it successfully makes my drinks cold, so I don’t know what I’m complaining about, but it’s seriously only like 60% full. It seems like they’d work even better if they were more full. The instructions say to freeze them upside down, but that’s not really feasible in my freezer for space reasons. But freezing them on their side doesn’t seem to cause any problems. They sometimes make cracking noises, like ice cracking. But I never see any cracks form in the frozen gel. I’m worried that it’s cracking the plastic shell. (They seem to do this no matter the orientation they were frozen in.)

I had two of these glasses and put them in the dishwasher without thinking. It warped them badly. I ordered these as a replacement. They are great – just pop them in the freezer and they will keep your drink cold. I liked them enough to buy a second time, after destroying the first set.
