Love This Iced Tea Maker
I make a pitcher of iced tea every day. This tea maker makes the perfect pitcher and is compact enough for a smaller refrigerator. Easy of use, brew time and taste are exceptional!

Does what is says it will do
We purchased this several weeks ago and are satisfied with the performance of the machine. Tea tastes fine. So far, I haven’t any complaints about the product and neither have my guests.

My teen is obsessed with iced tea, so we got her this and she is obsessed! It is so easy and straightforward to make a jug of tea. She tweaked with it a few times to find her preference and we have been using it every week. It is easy to clean, only thing is it is discolored from the tea, but that was expected and not really concerning since we did get the white.

Nice tea maker with some draw backs

It’s plastic, but who cares
After using a Mr. Coffee for many years, I needed a replacement and apparently they no longer make a 3 quart iced tea machine.What I like about the HomeCraft is that I don’t need paper filters for loose leaf tea. Dumping the basket and rinsing it out is very easy to do. The screened basket within the solid basket, each with easy to grab handles, is also very nice. I also like that I can add water AFTER the loose tea if necessary. I have never made iced tea with tea bags so I cannot speak to how that works.After reading the manual, I learned something after many years of making tea that I never knew. Occasionally my tea would come out cloudy even though I use filtered water. The manual said that this can be caused by the tea getting too cold too quickly. And it happened with the new tea maker. So now I put in a little less ice and add a little water to the ice before starting the machine. It works great and I’m very happy to have learned this!The pitcher is a little smaller than the Mr. Coffee pitcher, but it seems to be reasonably sturdy and I always transfer my tea to a different pitcher after it is made anyway.

Very cheap product
The machine starts brewing immediately upon plugging it in. The “power button” doesn’t seem to have a purpose. The movable arm where the hot water comes out is very flimsy. I do not recommend this product.

I am so glad I bought this machine. I have had the Mr.Coffee tea machines in the past they didn’t last. This has exceeded my expectations,love the design, no leaks, great tasting tea.
