So if ur looking for a cheap way of getting into making mead this is definitely not it u can get everything separately and come out a bit cheaper it comes with everything u need iv seen the bad reviews and nothing they said is true customer service is good now on to the instructions toss them out do ur own resurch on it the packs come with what ur supposed to use them for iv been doing resurch on it it’s not that hard other than that it’s a waiting game do I think this is a good kit so far yes could it be cheaper hell yes price point u can get away with better for cheaper imo

Great for beginners
Great starter set. Recipe a little confusing but came out delicious now making 3 gallon batches and still keeping the kit for new recipes to test in. Recommended for new home brewers but if you already make beer u have alot of this equipment.

Very nice items, beautifully packaged, horrible instructions, 1 missing item.
The kit looks great! I’m starting my first batch. Each item is packaged nicely and everything is new. They include everything you need to start except the stock pot, bottles, & water. Although, this seller did not include the yeast nutrient in my kit, even though it’s supposed to be in there, so that’s a little disappointing.Further, there’s a glaring lack of labels, which is a problem since they market this kit to newcomers, Google will be my friend for my first batch! Also – these instructions are a joke. They’re clearly written by a non-native English speaker, are out of order, and have very long run-on sentence issues. Lastly, the instruction packet keeps annoyingly veering-off to discuss non sequiturs about history, honey, and bees. The instructions also constantly refers to ingredients, chemicals, items, and cleaners that are not in the kit. I think they included good alternatives to those items, but I wish i knew what item matched to it’s corresponding step in the instruction packet.All in all, I’m very happy with the quality of the items in the kit, but i feel like this kit should not be marketed for new-comers without some serious upgrades to instructions, labels, etc…

This is a very cool set to start you on making mead at home! It has everything you need to get started and do all the basic mead making. My husband has made one successful batch so far with more on the way!

NOT FOR BEGINNERS
This is NOT for beginners, my husband wanted to try it out, so we ordered this kit for his birthday, the directions are not clear at all! He kept having to try to go on YouTube to try and figure out what to do…hopefully it turns out ok, but itâs definitely no thanks to the directions that come with this kit
