They sent me one box that was open and used which it clearly says not for sale if opened. I contacted them and they shipped it to me again. The 2nd box came in exactly the same. I contacted Amazon and I just received my money back that time with the option to keep or throw away the boxes. I guess I’m glad I got my money back because the quality of those seeds was garbage. I went ahead and planted them just to see what would happen and it’s been 4 months with no plant germination. I guess I’m glad I didn’t give them as a gift or that would have been a big disappointment planting Duds. I’m not even sure they were real seeds because they were not in seed packets they were in Ziplocs with dirty used planters. I’ve already posted one review with pictures and all but they deleted my review so y’all could not see how bad of a seller they are.

Smaller than expected, but good
I was excited to receive this Bonsai Starter Kit as it seemed like a great way to start learning about bonsai trees. While the packaging and included items were nice, I was a bit disappointed by the size of the plantsâit was much smaller than I expected based on the pictures. That said, the kit includes everything you need to get started, and the Grow Guide is helpful for beginners. This would be a good gift for someone whoâs new to bonsai, but keep in mind the trees will require a lot of time and patience to grow into something resembling the beautiful examples shown on the box.

READ THE DIRECTIONS!
I got this kit today in the mail, it is important to remember to read the directions. If you get the ones in the picture along with the blue Jacaranda seeds ( <- those ones don't require any special stratification) but the other seeds do. If you'd rather read a review than the directions..Starting in January or feb ( I did mine a bit early ) soak the seeds over 24 hours.For the Chinese elm gently squeeze excess water out. ( GENTLY)Fold them up in a paper towel, place In a zip lock bag and then into a container. Place in a cool place ( above freezing 31â°f- 41â°f ) like in your fridge. Two have the same duration time and one is different.Chinese Elm and Hinoki Cypress have a duration of 60 days Chinese Elm could go 30 too. ( goal is to replicate nature most germinate in spring to summer)Crepe Myrtles duration is 30 days.After words: when all the seeds have gone through their process; place your soil pucks onto a tray and use about 3/4ths cup of water per soil puck. Wait 15-20 minutes until pucks are soft and loose they should expand 4-5 times their size. Soil should be damp not dripping wet.Mix together the nutrition packet ( sea weed )And perlite into the soil and distribute evenly between the 4 pots. Leave 1/2" from top to rim.The rest is in the pictures posted.I can't wait to see if these will grow for me. The directions are precise and helpful so HANG ONTO THE BOOKLET.They packaged it beautifully came in pristine and perfect condition.Thank you to the sellers and the people who made this kit.

Mixed Experience with Bonsai Tree Kit – Limited Seeds and QR Issues
My experience with the Bonsai Tree Kit, Grow Your Own: Premium 4 Bonsai Trees Starter Kit has been somewhat mixed.One notable downside is the limited quantity of seeds provided. I found myself expecting a more generous supply, and unfortunately, some of the seeds didn’t germinate as expected, resulting in a less than ideal growing experience.Moreover, I encountered a hiccup with the QR code on the packaging â it simply did not work. This was disappointing as I was hoping for additional guidance or tips that might have been accessible through the QR code.On the positive side, the included pots and soil are of decent quality, and the instructions are clear, making it suitable for beginners. However, the challenges with seed quantity and germination, coupled with the non-functional QR code, leave room for improvement in the overall kit. If these issues are addressed, it could be a more satisfying experience for budding bonsai enthusiasts.

Everything you need to start growing from seeds is here. 4 bags of seeds. My 4 bags had 5 seeds of each type of plant. After a month, the flame tree sprouted quickly, the Japanese black pine was a little slower, and the rest didn’t sprout but ill use the extra seeds to try again. I might have to make sure I use a nail file to scratch the seed before soaking it for germination like the instructions say.
