Kit has everything you need to start an indoor or outdoor garden of herbs. Great directions which lead my seedlings to come up in five days in the kitchen window. I defintely would buy again

This product came in nice sturdy packaging. Along with quality seeds, soil and easy instructions. I love it!! Can’t wait for the herbs to grow. I started with four of the eight herbs. We’ll see where that goes. This would make a beautiful gift for anyone. UPDATE, ONLY ONE (BASIL) OF THE FOUR PLANTED CAME UP. I CALLED THE COMPANY FOR REPLACEMENT SEEDS FOR THE ROSEMARY, THYME AND LEMON BALM THAT FAILED AND THEY SAID THEY WOULD SEND BUT NEVER DID. DON’T BUY THIS PRODUCT. Save your money. Don’t buy this product. I did and followed the directions to the “T”.

Pretty good but needs caution about indoor gardening
Mostly easy. There is some issue with the type of plant food if you are, like so many others, growing indoors under grow lights. It is very prone to mold growth more so than others, however if you can get past that this is a very good set. Some type of warning would have made this easier. As it stands the plants that did not make it either because of the mold despite resorting to watering via dropper to give just enough and no more, and a move where some did not survive the shock, did save some seeds to try again and will be attempting such and how I handle this will be a little different knowing how prone the soil is to mold once youâve mixed in the plant food that comes with it.Otherwise this is a very good set with a very good germination rate. Even with the rosemary, which is rare.

UPDATE: 14 days in, Chives & Mountain Mint havenât even tried to sprout. About half of the Basil sprouted, Parsley really wants to try, and Cilantro is kind of falling over – not as tough of a stalk as it should have for as tall as itâs getting. Guess Iâll look forward to planting better quality seeds in these plastic cups another time. ðThis arrived with the sticker on the box broken, and it says to contact if broken, however the contents of the box was in perfectly clean and complete condition. The seeds in the packets are sufficient for this kit, so if youâre expecting a full seed packet look a bit more carefully at the product photos. The pots I received have kind of a tulip shape in a warm almond color instead of a cool grey straight sided more modern looking version thatâs shown in the photos. Not a deal breaker for me, but itâs enough that I wouldnât ever recommend this kit as a gift – the pots give off dollar store sippy cup vibes and do not match the listing which is why I deducted a star. I wonât be updating this review for plant growth because I ordered it and had it shipped during basically a blizzard⦠if the seeds donât grow itâs either that or my own inexperience at fault.*Note the tiny amount of fertilizer provided to be shared across five soil pucks. I see myself accidentally spilling this all at once, so I used a clear packet to scoop from with a little measuring spoon.

I purchased this for a gift. Received and couldn’t believe how small the kit is. I’m to embarrassed to give as a gift to a gardener. The reviews were good and bad. I thought maybe this would have been a nice gift, don’t purchase!
